Solar Storms are increasing with a big one said to hit us on Monday the 13th of January and will continue on for the rest of the week. 2020 is said to become a year of heightened Solar activity so this may just be the beginning… Many of us have been feeling the influence of the Solar & Geomagnetic activity since the New Year. The last few days it has been amped up again with many of us feeling out of whack, tired, fatigued, cold like symptoms and struggling with sleepless & insomnia despite the feelings of exhaustion.

These are real symptoms of the geomatic energy shifts happening on Earth due to the Solar activity. Science is beginning to recognise these symptoms as human experiences as well as the effect they have on our planets energy, magnetics & communications systems. 

With potent Full Moon Lunar Eclipse energy rippling through us and the Saturn Pluto conjunction happening tomorrow, it is a good idea not to over stretch ourselves and just go with the flow, nurturing ourselves. Pushing our energy right now may leave us depleted and assimilating the positive energy on offer right here right now may take longer and we may even end up to the point of exhaustion and find out bodies force us to rest.

If we feel it and are sensitive to these energies during the Solar storms take a nap, say no to the 20 social engagements, chill out on the beach or read a book, paint a picture, travel within and resign to the nurturing.

On Friday the 10^th of January we have a Full Moon falling in the watery sign of Cancer. This Full Moon is also a Penumbral Lunar Eclipse. There is “SO” much going on with this Cancerian Full Moon Eclipse, a long read is ahead ♥ the journey will be worth it thou xo CH ♥

The energy around the Cancerian Full Moon Eclipse is going to be massive. Firstly because in 2019 Cancer missed out on having a Full Moon fall in her sign. With the Moon being ruled by Cancer this was quite a big gap astrologically, especially for those who’s Sun falls in Cancer… and for those who have strong Cancerian energies within their natal charts.

Many ancient cultures believed that when the Full Moon fell in our sign our pineal gland, the seat of our soul, would be activated, allowing us to align deeper with the universe, our guides and the higher dimensions around us.

Having the Full Moon in our sign typically happens once per year, so when it does, it’s like we are being given access to special energies that will guide us through the next 12 months.

To all those born under the Cancer Sun, 2019 offered you no Full Moon. You missed out on your opportunity to receive the special wisdom and illumination that comes when the Full Moon is in your sign.

Now, straight up in 2020, the first Full Moon of the year falls in the sign of Cancer, but it’s not your average Full Moon. It is a Lunar Eclipse.  Now that Cancer has her moment, she is going to be sure to use it to shine Super big!

All of us, no matter our sign, are going to feel the Cancerian energies raining down hard on us under this Eclipse.

What adds to all of this energy is that the Sun, along with four other planets will be in Capricorn, forming what is known as a Stellium. This Capricorn Stellium will try to reign in Cancer’s watery, emotional sensitivity, but this may only result in making things worse, not better!

With so much happening in the Capricorn Stellium, the Cancerian Moon feels she must and she definitely needs to have her moment. She will not let the thoughtful, logical, practical Capricorn energy rain on her parade!

Cancer is coming out of her shell in all her glory to remind us of its full power, and we are all going to get a good blast of it under this potent Lunar Eclipse.

Lunar Eclipses can be harsh as they often clear a path for us that we didn’t quite feel we were ready for. They can accelerate our journeys by releasing something from our lives or illuminating truths that we need to release in order to keep moving forward. And boom… it can be quite harsh!

As Cancerian energy will be strong, it is likely that this Eclipse will be Super Emotional, and we may find ourselves feeling Extra Sensitive or even irritable.

Lunar Eclipses are a great time to bring our attention internally to the shifts we want to make within ourselves. Whether we can see it or not, this is a potent time deal with emotional matters, shifting negative thoughts and beliefs. No matter where you live on our glorious planet the effects of the Lunar Eclipse will be felt even if it is not visible. The vibrational ripple is sent out & felt across all of our planet and into the universe.

The aspects that are playing the major roles during the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse are focused around communication because of Sun conjunct to Mercury. But it is cold, harsh, ruthless and oppressive because of the authoritarian, dictatorial influence of Saturn and Pluto.

This will mean that the Lunar Eclipse is emotionally very challenging because the Moon is so afflicted by aspects. Sensitive, Timid people and Empaths really need to protect yourself against bullies. If you are strong you need to protect the more vulnerable family members and friends around you. This Eclipse favors the hard liners, the powerful and wealthy.

The big oppositions include the Lunar Eclipse opposite to Mercury. This causes emotional bias and polarized thinking that makes it harder to understand and communicate our feelings. We may have difficulty making sense of everyday problems, and misunderstandings or oversensitivity could lead to arguments.

Addiction, racism, and prejudice may influence thoughts, words, and behaviors. It is important to listen carefully and think before speaking because of a tendency to react instinctively, especially when upset.

The Lunar Eclipse opposite Saturn can cause bad moods because of sadness, boredom or loneliness. Difficulty in sharing our emotions can lead to relationship problems. Downhearted feelings, pessimism and emotional coldness could also make socialising difficult and challenging.

We may feel burdened or guilty about our responsibilities to our partner or someone much older or younger, like a child or grandchild, parent or grandparent. Some feelings that may pop up include hopelessness, fear, jealousy, and obsessiveness. We might also be vulnerable to being emotionally manipulated and controlled. We in Australia are going through very intense situations with the horrific fires & drought effecting our country. A great sadness, shock, grief, sense of loss and lack of support & decisions from our government is affecting everyone.

The polarity to this is the overwhelming love and help from others, the banding together of communities, support from all over the planet helping us to support each other which in turn is cracking our hearts wide open in a very positive way. We all should hold on tightly to the positivity of kin-manship and look forward to the future in a positive loving light filled way to heal, rebuild, transform and rise up as the great tribe of Gondwana that we are ♥ ♥ ♥

This is the polarity of heart healing which plays a big role in the Cancerian Lunar Eclipse & we can see the unfolding of this for us during these intense times.

Cancer rules over the heart chakra and we may feel the boundaries to dive right into our hearts and deepest feelings, which can be both beautiful and painful at the same time. If we ignore the pull to take this dive, we may become insular and harden.

Big Heart activations are possible under this intense yet energy of growth. For those working deeply on heart healing, you can definitely use this energy to push yourself that little further and open your heart center a little more.

As this Lunar Eclipse falls in Cancer, our attention may turn to our home and family environment or to our feelings of being at home within ourselves.

We may feel caught up in family dynamics in some way or find ourselves reflecting on what family or our relationships mean to us.

We may also find ourselves making space in our lives to feel more at home within ourselves or to set better boundaries with the ones we love.

We all tend to feel Eclipses a little differently, but all of us are likely to notice themes emerging around our home and family environment and the feelings that these things mean for us.

Saturn and Pluto are major players in the astrology of 2020, and I will post on this influence shortly as they will kiss and conjunct each other on the 12^th…

During the Cancerian Full Moon Lunar Eclipse we are going to have to work on being clear in how we communicate with others and how we approach any difficult or tense conversations that may arise.

We may also be encouraged to speak our truth and to share our wisdom in a way that helps liberate us and release us from some of the heaviness that has been weighing us down. There is this sense that the truth will set us free, however sometimes truths can be painful to hear at first.

Relationships again are the focus; we have to get clear and clear out the crap. Some may find they are staying in relationships out of feelings of duty, working a job they don’t love out of obligation or any situation where they are sacrificing their own truth for someone else. We are all being asked to stop settling. This can be hard as we are conditioned to swallow our own desires and do for others. But we have to remember we must do for ourselves as well. 

Focus is important during this Eclipse Energy and we are being reminded not to take on everything or spread ourselves too thin. The energy is intense, and we must not let it drain us. Instead we should put our attention, energy and effort on what it is we want to move forward with the most. This is a powerful time to plan things out carefully before going ahead. Take the time needed to put a plan in action. It will make the implementation of goals and desires so much easier. 

Overall, the Cancer Full Moon Lunar Eclipse is an emotionally heavy one and will set the stage for the months to come. On the polarity It will be guiding us to express ourselves, open our hearts, get in touch with our emotions, and work on feeling at home within ourselves.

It may also stir up family dynamics or issues within the home. We may also feel a need to speak our truth or we may find that a truth is illuminated for us that changes our path and life direction.

The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse will definitely guide all of us in some way to release and let go of things that are no longer serving our highest purpose. We are being offered an opportunity to step up, move, release and leap forward on our journeys. It might be a bit rocky, but we are definitely ready.

A sneak peek into January 2020… January 2020 is a power month and sets the stage for what’s to come, not just for the year ahead but the decade ahead too.

The vibe & energy of January is about awakenings on all levels and this is kickstarted with a potent Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on January 10th in the sign of Cancer.

Cancer missed out on a Full Moon falling in her sign in 2019, which means that this Eclipse is not going to go by unnoticed! She’s ramping it up, how dare the crab Goddess miss out on her Full Moon turn !!

So, Cancerian energy will be super strong and waves of emotionally charged emotions will be on offer in order to inspire us to release, shed our skins, transform and let go.

On a Lunar Eclipse, the Universe opens a portal of energy that allows it to swoop in and release something for us that we weren’t quite ready to let go of in order to keep us moving forward and accelerating higher.

While Eclipses advance our soul journey, our human selves are often left to play catch up which is why they can sometimes be a jarring experience.

All of us will feel the Cancer Lunar Eclipse energies differently, but this will be a heightened time where we will all feel called to release and let go of something.

Interestingly 2020 will bring us 6 Eclipses… We typically have four Eclipses each year- two Solar Eclipses and two Lunar Eclipses, but this year it will be six Eclipses! This won’t happen again until 2029.

What is even more interesting however, is that four of these Eclipses are Lunar Eclipses!

Having four Lunar Eclipses can be a little intense as they are usually more jarring than a Solar Eclipse. It enhances this message from the Universe that big shifts and changes are on the way. More on that later…

Following the potent Cancerian Full Moon Eclipse… on January 12th we have the long-anticipated Saturn-Pluto conjunction in the sign of Capricorn.

This alignment is extremely rare and carries life-changing, transformative energy that will play a role in shaping the entire year. In fact, the alignment of Saturn and Pluto is one of the most significant cosmic energies we will experience in our lifetime!

Saturn and Pluto aligning brings many layers to unpack… more on that later again ?

Saturn and Pluto aligning so close to the Eclipse does create a little heaviness and it is likely that whatever we are called to release is going to really shift and transform us in almost a life-changing way.

While these power days happen almost back to back, they tend to affect us on a subconscious level first, so we may have to be patient and watch to see what happens.

In fact, it may not be till the end of the year that we will really be able to make sense of what seeds and transformations were planted in this very special month of January.

To add to this energy, right in between these dates on January 11, we have Uranus going direct after being retrograde since August 11, 2019.

If we have been feeling unclear about something or uncertain, Uranus going direct will help bring some clarity. This will also be enhanced by the illuminating effects of the Eclipse too.

With all of this energy in the first few weeks of January, we may be feeling a little all over the place, upside down & totally spaced out!

These astrological energies are very strong, and this sometimes can leave us feeling a little anxious, restless, or heavy. Regardless, this crazy period will be putting us on our path and sending us forward on where we need to be!

Then on January 20th, the Sun moves out of Capricorn into the sign of Aquarius. After the strong Capricorn energy, we have experienced the last few weeks, this will feel like a burst of fresh air.

Aquarius is an air sign, so we are going to feel a little more light and airy, especially after the strong alignments that have taken place.

Following this on January 24-25th, we have the first New Moon of the year in the sign of Aquarius.

This New Moon carries the energy of change, upheaval, and may even bring more awakenings. This is because Uranus, the planet of change and awakening will be very active at this time.

Uranus shakes things in our lives in order to awaken us to a new way of being. As things shake, we can feel unsettled and uncertain, but sometimes we need this to happen in order to discover our strengths and a new way to be.

The Aquarius New Moon also marks the start of the Chinese New Year. We move out of the year of the Yin Earth Pig and into the year of the Yang Metal Rat.

According to Chinese Astrology, the Rat is the first sign in the zodiac wheel, indicating the start of a fresh cycle and a new wave of energy. (I’ll have more on this soon too 😉 ❤

Overall, January is a busy, powerful, and super-charged month and we are going to have to pay extra attention to our health and wellbeing. Protecting our energy, practicing self-care, and creating a grounding routine is going to be important.

January’s energy carries a strong sense of destiny to it, so wherever we find ourselves carries some pretty strong clues as to what our soul desires to accomplish on our journeys.

Today, December 26th we welcome the start of Eclipse Season with a New Moon Solar Eclipse in the Earth sign of Capricorn.

This Solar Eclipse has a very positive chart because the Sun and Moon align with Jupiter, the planet of growth, abundance and good luck. Another good aspect to Uranus adds positive change and excitement. The New Moon Partial Solar Eclipse effects last for six months instead of the normal four weeks.

That works out very well for us all because this is the one of the best Eclipses I can remember. The Eclipse will be visible in the Middle East, Southern India, South East Asia some parts of North Western Australia. For us in NSW the Eclipse will begin just after 4pm today and even though we are unable to see the Eclipse the energy will be felt the same as anywhere on the planet.

On a Solar Eclipse, a new doorway is opened that helps to push and advance us further on our soul path.

A new way will begin to unfold. This new way may appear subtle at first. Perhaps it will begin as a new thought or a new feeling, and then slowly it will shift into taking a new action.

It’s almost like this Eclipse opens a new stream of energy which we can take and download into our lives.

How we download it is up to us and where we are on our journey, but all of us are going to be changed, all of us are going to be awakened in some way.

The energy surrounding this Solar Eclipse is abundant and expansive.

There are opportunities here to really plant seeds that will turn into the tallest, most luscious trees.

The days following this Solar Eclipse are perfect for setting intentions and thinking about what goals and ambitions we want to take on in the new year.

While we can set intentions at this time, we may also have to be patient and see what this Eclipse brings in.

We may find that this new doorway changes what we desire or makes way for new intentions we wouldn’t have considered earlier.

There is also strong energy around this Eclipse that is calling on us to transcend childhood patterns or unleash our inner child.

We may experience a healing on an inner-child level, or we may discover that we no longer need to hold onto patterns or traumas that we have collected through our upbringing.

Alternatively, we may discover that we need to stop taking everything so seriously, to lighten up, and to bring the energy of child-like play back into our lives.

There is a strong sense around this Eclipse of being able to transcend any family drama or family karma and shift it in a harmonious way.

Because this Eclipse falls around the holidays and many of us will be with family or thinking about family, we can really use this as an opportunity to rise above any unhealthy dynamics or patterns that no longer serve us or bring out the best in us.

We can also use this harmonious Eclipse energy to forgive, heal, set boundaries, and to practice loving kindness and compassion.

Sometimes accepting our family for who they are, flaws and all, can be incredibly healing and can allow us look past how they may not have fulfilled the roles they were supposed to.

Capricorn energy is not the most expressive or emotional. It is practical and likes to keep things logical. However, this energy may come to help us around this time.

Family dynamics can often get emotional and heated very quickly, but how can we look at things from a more practical, black and white mindset? How can we look beyond our emotions and just focus on the facts?

We may find that by doing so, we feel a little more at ease about whatever comes up or whatever family dynamics we are being called to work through.

If any tensions do rise at this time, try to focus on the facts. Try to see things from a logical point of view, rather than getting swept up in emotion.

Of course, this is easier said than done, but if you feel triggered, especially around family, see if you can lean in deeper to release whatever the trigger point is.

Sometimes you need a little time and space to figure this all out, but know the Eclipse energies will be supporting you.

As the vibrations around this time are extremely harmonious, any issues are likely to be ironed out quickly and result in more love and more understanding.

Overall, the Solar Eclipse carries abundant energies and will open a new doorway into a new stream of consciousness.

Its energy is expansive, protective, and harmonious and will feel like a gift from the Universe.

This is something we have been working hard all year to receive, so be sure to open yourself and welcome in the shifting, awakening energies this Eclipse brings.

2020 promises something different than the years before, and the doorway to this new wave of energy starts under this December Solar Eclipse.

No matter what unfolds on this day, the energies will lift us up and prepare us for the incredible cosmic waves that are set to begin come the new year.

December 22nd marks the Summer Solstice, the celebration of Litha and Midsummer. It is a time of celebration, a joyous time to open our hearts and shine our light and share our love. It is a time of joy, celebration and dance, appreciation for life as we reach the threshold of peak growth for the year.

The Solstice also brings the shortest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere, where we are encouraged to enter the dark night of the soul, and the longest day of the year in the Southern Hemisphere, where we are encouraged to celebrate the light.

No matter which part of the world you live in, the Solstice is a highly sensitive day where we can feel more in tune with the energies around us.

Astronomically, it is the longest day of the year, representing the Sun/God at full power. Although the hottest days of the summer still lie ahead, from this point onward we enter the waning as the Sun reaches the mid-point of the cycle that began 6 months earlier at the Winter Solstice. The Summer Solstice also marks the Sun’s move into the earth sign of Capricorn.

Christmas is portrayed more around a Winter Solstice celebration and always feels a little strange when celebrated at the height of summer in the Southern Hemisphere. It is important to find a way to honour the Spirit of Place here in the Southern Hemisphere by acknowledging the energy of summer.

This is a time of joy and strength for the light. It is a time when the powers of nature are at their fullest. In Australia the Sturt Desert Pea is the sacred flower of this time. Incense to use for ritual are sage, mint, basil, Saint John’s Wort, sunflower, lavender. Decorations for altars dried herbs, potpourri, seashells, summer flowers, and fruits, along with the colours of blue, green, and yellow.

During the Festival of Litha, Summer the Solstice, the veil between this world and higher dimensions is also at its thinnest and we are offered the to tap into galactic energies and angelic realms with greater ease.

The December Solstice is the official start of Summer, although we have been sweltering in heatwave condition already in Australia for some time we need the remember it is the season of the light! This is a time to put ourselves out there, to remove our cloak of fears, and to allow ourselves to shine!

No more holding back, no more playing small. The time has come for us to leap forward and to celebrate the work we have achieved throughout the year.

Life isn’t always sunny, but the Universe brings the longest day of the year to remind us that there is always light at the end of the tunnel.

Even though things may feel dark, this state is temporary. There is always a way to find the light again, no matter how dark or how deep the tragedy. The fires have caused so much trauma & destruction across our country, as hard as it may be for many we need to hold onto the light.

The light will shine again and remind us of the beauty and bounty that life has to offer.  Regeneration will come.

When the Sun shines bright, we can also feel a ray of clarity move through our lives. We realise what is important and what we truly want to spend our time focusing on.

What motivates and drives us can be up for review at this time, for under the summer Capricorn Sun, we are being guided to align our motivations with our highest truth and the calling of our soul.

At this time, we are guided to think about what fuels our Spirit and recharges our Soul. And we are also being given opportunities by the Universe to do just that using the power of the Sun.

As the Sun shines bright on the longest day, try to spend time outside in nature. Swim in her oceans, bathe in her forests, hike through her wildflowers, and connect with the energy of creation.

Feel the warmth of the Sun lighting your being and know that just like all of nature, the Sun’s rays can transform you, nourish you, and help inspire creation.

We have a Full Moon falling in the sign of Gemini on Thursday the 12th of the December. The Gemini Full Moon is the last Full Moon of the year, the decade, and is opening of the Eclipse gateway. The first Eclipse occurs in 2 weeks and this Full Moon opens the energy which surrounds the Eclipse cycle.

This begins the powerful portal of transformation that will be open until the January New Moon. This is a good time to pay attention of our energy as well as where we focus this Full Moon and during this pre-eclipse period, as what we focus on is supercharged and can manifest quickly during the eclipse cycle.

This Full Moon can bring out of the blue occurrences happening without warning. Surprises are very possible, as well as being told shocking or unknown information. There is no way to be ready for what will be coming as it will be very unexpected. What we can do is be aware of the powerful energy flowing right now and be open to the transformation and try to move with it as best we can.

There can be a temptation to run or hide from the shifts or truth that is rising. We need to remember there is a greater destiny at play here, much moving in the unseen that we may not be aware of.

As this Full Moon falls in the sign of the twins, we may find that things unfold in pairs or two areas of our lives may be highlighted under this energy. We can experience this on an emotional level too by feeling in two minds about something.

Regardless of what is stirred up under the Gemini Full Moon, it gives all of us the opportunity to release and let go of things we no longer wish to take with us into the new year and the next decade.

So much of what is falling away now is not meant for us and this transformation is opening the doors that are needed to move things forward in new ways. It may not come to us on a direct path, we may discover it from another angle. But it will be worth it. 

The events, situations, meetings and conversations that are occurring during this energy are here to wake us. This can mean breaking free from patterns or connections that have kept us in limbo for far too long. This can be just the thing we need to inspire us to move in a new direction.

Communication, Gemini Energy, is strong during this Full Moon Eclipse Gateway, and we may have light bulb moments coming to us in conversations with others. Pay attention to what is being spoken.

The Gemini Full Moon may also trigger our relationships and finances, this is mostly because the planet Venus is very active.

In fact, at the time of the Gemini Full Moon, she is placed right in-between Saturn and Jupiter, forming what is known as a triple conjunction, and we will feel her Venusian energy very strongly! Just after Sunset you can see Venus setting with Saturn so close it’s like they are kissing.

Relationships are a big focus now.  If we have been feeling a little uncertain about a relationship or struggling with some challenges in a relationship, this Full Moon may present an opportunity to progress things along in either direction.

Breaking up or setting firm boundaries with someone is never easy, but there’s something about the holiday season that can make it even more difficult.

If issues in a relationship arise at this time, don’t feel pressured by your family, by the opinions of others, or by the holiday season. You have to do what is best for you!

Family relationships can often be highlighted this time of year anyway, so if we find ourselves feeling frustrated or emotional around the Full Moon, we need to find a way to protect ourselves from anyone in our life that is a known trigger.

While this Full Moon may highlight issues in a relationship, know that whatever comes to the surface is better out than in!

December can be an extremely busy month for many, with travel plans, family commitments, holiday parties and more, but we all must try to take some time out and to check in with ourselves, to rest, to restore, and to let go of anything that is dense and heavy.

There are strong healing vibes around this Full Moon as just after it peaks, Chiron the asteroid of healing will go direct after being retrograde since July 8th, 2019.

This is the perfect time to schedule a check-up, to boost your immunity, or to spend a little extra time on self-care.

Don’t let nagging health issues slide. Book that doctor’s appointment or go get a second opinion. Taking charge of our health is really going to be ideal under this Full Moon.

The same goes for our mental and emotional health too. If we find ourselves needing some support, reach out!!!! If we find ourselves a flat, a bit down and out, do something new, exercise, eating healthy, walk on the beach, climb a mountain, anything that lifts the spirits!!! 2019 has been a year for leveling up and preparing for some of the huge cosmic alignments that await us in 2020. Many of us have been called to change various aspects of our lives, our thoughts, our relationships, and what we are willing to tolerate.

There has been a huge focus this year on setting boundaries and thinking about how our actions affect not only ourselves but the world around us. It has also been a year where we have been guided to speak our truth and learn how to express, and communicate in a thoughtful and truthful manner.

Under the Taurus Full Moon, there are many blessings on offer; we just have to open our arms, open our hearts, and acknowledge that each of us are worthy to receive.

Full Moons signify the end of a cycle and there is a strong theme of closure surrounding this Taurus Moon. We may receive some closure we have been looking for since the start of the year.
