The New Moon is sitting in the watery & intuitive sign of Pisces and connecting to our intuition and being guided by our souls/guides & inner knowing is just what this New Moon is all about. Pisces is also highly creative, so this is a great time for creative projects and ventures.
Pisces governs what’s hidden, the background, the past, and endings, so we may come to learn something that was unknown to us and sheds light on something important; we may feel more comfortable in the background and set things up as we ready for the energy of the next new moon in Aries; we may think more about the past and feel willing to move on without so much of the baggage weighing us down; and we may finish something important, see something through to the end, and come out of it feeling renewed. This can be a good time to construct healthy boundaries, and to gain some subconscious understanding.
The Pisces New Moon beckons us to dive deep into the ocean of our soul. Submerge into the great depths as if we are magnificent whales diving deeper & deeper into the ocean.
All of us should simply take a moment wherever we are and draw a deep breath. Sink into our inner selves. Pause and feel what it’s like to be in our bodies in this moment. Recognise that our body is more than 70 percent water. Recognise that while we have this density to our bodies within us is our own ocean. Within us is the same ocean that ebbs and flows with the cycle of the Moon. This is the watery depth this Pisces New Moon is asking us to enter.
The Pisces New Moon is asking us to take a dive to the bottom of the ocean within us, not to analyze, pick apart, or judge what is there, but to simply observe. To watch the memories, the pains, the dreams, and the triggers. To see them floating by like they are a part of us, but not really us! Just to witness them floating by on the gentle waves from inside our inner minds, no action, no judgment…just watching.
When we look back in time, we may feel as if certain events
and memories were nothing more than a dream. But life is like that sometimes.
It is only when you step outside it all for a moment, that you see the lines of
reality are often blurred.
The magical harmony of the Pisces New Moon will guide us
within, helping to open and unlock our intuition, our hidden depths and our
creative potential.
Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac, so under this energy,
we may also find ourselves feeling a sense of completion or reflecting on the
journey we have traveled over the last 12 months.
Beyond the ethereal qualities of this watery Pisces New
Moon, it also forms a configuration known as a Talent Triangle with Uranus and
Mars.
Imagine the Moon at the apex and Uranus and Mars with their
strong planetary forces, forming the base of this triangle. These three planets
are interlocked, their energy flowing harmoniously back and forth, creating a
portal of influence.
As the name suggests, this Talent Triangle will guide us to
unlock our talents and natural gifts. If there is something we have wanted to
try or a hidden gift waiting to be unearthed, this configuration will be the
key that opens the door.
This energy will inspire us to feel motivated, confident,
and ready to step out of our comfort zones into new beginnings. It will beam
down rays that remind us that our dreams can indeed become reality.
Mars will drive our ambition and remind us that we are
worthy. It will support us to release our fears and to know we are so much stronger
than we have ever believed ourselves to be.
Uranus will drive our feelings of freedom and independence.
It will support us to take a leap of faith and to step out of any imposed cages
or walls we have built around ourselves.
We all have things we are naturally gifted at, but sometimes
it is hard for us to see them in ourselves. Sometimes it is really all just
about stepping out and having a go at something that inspires us & the
creative juices can begin to flow.
New Moons are a wonderful time to embrace the new, however
with Mercury in Retrograde and the strong Piscean vibes, we may not be able to
put our finger on this new beginning just yet. Something will be unlocked for
us under this New Moon energy, but we will have to be patient and give it some
time to take root and begin the grow.
That’s ok, it will become clearer, there is that little tune again…just go with the flow! During this Piscean New Moon one of the best things we can do is to clear space to receive intuitive energy and be open to diving into a deeper truth.
The first round of Mercury Retrogrades for 2020 has begun, starting in the water sign of Pisces. This retrograde will finish on the 9th of March with the shadow period completing on the 29th of March. Mercury takes 88 days to do one trek around our Sun. Mercury moves into retrograde three times per year, for anywhere between 19 to 24 days.
Although retrograding planets are the cause of an optical illusion, as our planets actually can’t physically move backwards…well as far as we know right now ?… the energy from the retrograding planets cause a ripple that we on Earth feel energetically.
Mercury retrograde is generally associated with
communication and technology breakdowns, nervous anxiety, travel delays, and
lost items. We may find ourselves reminiscing about the past or unexpectedly
meet up with people from our past. Business negotiations are often in a state
of flux during Mercury retrograde, with some important details not clear or
available to us during this time.
Some people dred Mercury Retrograde and see it as a
terrible time to navigate through. Sure, it can be challenging but if we flip
the coin, we can view the positive side of Mercury retrograding. This is a time
to slow down, work on chilling out the mind chatter, work on how we communicate
with others and make sure we check over anything important in detail, twice or
more. Retrogrades can be positive retrospect’s just as there are polarities in
all signs, planets, nature and people!
With Mercury beginning his retrograde in Pisces, we can
get stuck in the Piscean fog, struggle with focus, and feel scattered.
Imagination runs strong, and we can get lost in daydreams and fantasies. This
is great if you have nothing to focus on, but we always do! So we have to work
harder at trying to stay tethered to reality and not get lost in the whimsy.
Pisces is a compassionate sign requiring a gentle touch, and with Mercury
retrograde, we can be too sensitive, to easily wounded, and require more
boundaries so we’re not taken advantage of. Some can lack sensitivity at all
and act in cruel ways. Try to have healthy boundaries to protect yourself, but
also be mindful of others and what they need.
Pisces is a highly intuitive, spiritual sign, so focusing on spiritual pursuits
and strengthening your intuition can be a good thing to do during the
retrograde in Pisces. When the fog sets in and uncertainty is strong, your
intuition can act as a guide. Just make sure what you’re listening to is your
intuition and not the Devil in disguise!
Mercury retrogrades for the last few days in the air sign of Aquarius. In
Aquarius, we can feel extra rebellious, wanting to push boundaries and try
things in new ways. We can crave change and feel restless, making us act
impulsively and impatiently. But this does us no good, so try to keep that
energy under control and focus it productively.
Aquarius rules friends, groups, and the masses, so we can experience issues
with any of these. Friends can have a falling out, or old friends can come
back; some may leave groups and causes while others pick up old ones and
reconnect with old groups; and some may come before the masses and fall while
others triumph, some may fade into the crowd, and some crowds may get wild and
need a calming influence.
Aquarius is independent and innovative, the inventor and always thinking
outside of the box. With Mercury retrograde, we may think a little TOO far
outside of the box and need to be more realistic, or we may struggle with
unconventional ideas and need to be more open.
Mercury will be anaretic during this retrograde, which is when
a planet is 29 degrees of any sign. In transit, this is a crisis period where
energy is super high, and this can often be a trigger for something. Mercury
retrograde will be at 29 degrees Aquarius March 4th – 6th, so these will be
dates to look for. With Aquarius, there may be something sudden or unexpected
that comes about that we have to adjust to, there can be something that happens
that impacts a big group of people, or there may be a surge in rebellion.
Mercury will be at a critical degree, the special degrees of critical energy,
February 27th – 28th, at 4 degrees Pisces. All Energy will be a lot higher, and
we can be a bit more scattered & frazzled.
There will be a New Moon in Pisces on February 23rd while Mercury is still retrograde in Pisces. This brings much more focus to the retrograde energy, and we can feel it in a big way. It’s a great time to pursue an opportunity for a second chance or do-over.
New moons with Mercury retrograde tend to be pretty positive, so hopefully this brings positive energy for us. Extra intuition, productive imagination, creative pursuits, feeling sweet and whimsical. Some happy Pisces vibes should be buzzing & blissing us out… More on the New Moon later!
Sunday the 9th of February, we have a Full Moon falling in the Fire Sign of Leo. There are many layers to this Leo Full Moon, so it is best to feel into any interpretations you read and go with the energy that feels right for you.
The Leo Full Moon brings energy, courage, vibing with passion & the aspects at play are mostly influenced by the planet Mars and also on two other Mars-like stars, Merak in the Great Bear constellation & Ras Elased Australis in the Lions Head.
There is something strengthening, motivating, and
restorative about this Leo Full Moon due to the harmonious alignment with the
planet of motivation, Mars.
Mars will be like a motivational speaker at our side, spurring
us along as we take on any challenges or projects during this time. Mars’
energy will help inspire us to push past any fears that are holding us back or
keeping our inner light small.
If there are fears that we have been holding onto, if there
are things we would rather not look at, or pains that have felt just too heavy
to carry, we should all allow a little space for this Full Moon energy to hold us.
Allow a little space for this Full Moon to start moving and
shifting things out of our bodies, out of our minds, out of our hearts, and out
of your lives.
Full Moons are always portals for releasing, so if we tune
in and allow the Full Moon’s energy to infuse with our own, we will find
ourselves supported to let go of anything that has been holding us back. The
Lions strength will hold us as we dive in bravely, we just have to be honest
with ourselves and pull back the layers.
Leo is ruled by the Sun, so whenever we have a Full Moon in the sign of the Sun, it’s extra special. With the Sun sitting opposite the Moon in Aquarius father Sun shines his brilliant light towards the Full Moon, energizing and magnifying the energy of Leo, of whom he rules.
When Leo holds space for the Full Moon, it’s like a ray of
light shining down on all that feels dark and heavy in our lives.
Leo is a fire sign that reminds us to connect with all that
lights us up. It reminds us to connect with our inner fire, with our inner Sun,
and to remember that life is for experiencing rather than controlling.
The Leo Full Moon asks us to think and feel about what sets our
soul on fire? What fans our inner flame? What brings us a sense of purpose as we
move through the journey of life?
This Moon wants us to connect with these questions so we can
work on clearing away all that separates us from feeling present and at peace
with our lives.
We are all given a little push, some extra strength and
initiative to chase our desires and take what we want. There is courage and a
little vanity, or power hunger in the air so we also asked to watch letting our
emotions or greed get out of control.
The Leo Full Moon is also linked back to August of 2019.
Every August brings the Lionsgate Portal which falls when the Sun is in Leo on
the 8th of the 8th Month.
Now that we have the Full Moon in Leo, we may find ourselves
revisiting things that were happening for us during Lionsgate of last year.
The Leo Full Moon is spurring us along with a little Fire in
our bellies…. If there is something we have wanted to do, something we have
wanted to try, something we have wanted to say, this Full Moon will give us a
good dose of self-belief and self-confidence that we need.
Its energy is there for us to use, but it’s only real if we
act on it, if we let it in, if we allow it to guide us.
This is definitely one of those Full Moons where we want to
set an intention to push past a fear or barrier in order to breakthrough to the
other side. As long as we are moving from the heart, we should allow ourselves
the freedom to try, fail, learn, and everything in between.
Putting ourselves on the line, even if it makes us feel
vulnerable, even if it’s scary, because that’s how we Grow, that’s how we
learn, that’s how we keep leveling up on our journey.
There is another interesting energy at play at this Full
Moon and this is the meeting of Venus and Black Moon Lilith. More on that later…
Lilith the Triple Goddess of Astrology deserves her own story and the current alignment
will support us in finding our strength and confidence and breaking away from
any chains or restraints that have held us back.
So….. ❤Shine on Sistars and Brothers❤… This Leo Full Moon is a time to stand in our power. It is a time to connect to our higher selves, and to walk in alignment with our highest calling. It is a time to connect to our own inner Sun, the core of who we are.
Happy Luna New Year falling in the Chinese Zodiac of the Rat and Many Blessings for the first New Moon of the year falling in Aquarius today, January 24th ❤
The first New Moon in Aquarius is making quite an impact and is set to maybe bring some volatile, wavy energy through our cosmic skies.
This Aquarian New Moon may bring abrupt changes or a sense
of unease that we may have been feeling brewing over the past week.
This is because just a few days ago, on January 22nd, the
Sun and Uranus fell in a tense alignment, which is now further triggered on this
Aquarian New Moon.
Uranus is ruled by Aquarius and is the planet of change and
awakening, but the changes we feel on this New Moon are more likely to be
emotional ones.
Change can manifest in a variety of ways, but it seems that
this Aquarian New Moon will be working on our emotions and triggering us to
change the way we have been feeling about an event or our lives.
Sometimes our feelings are lying deep within us and we don’t
always have access to them. Sometimes we don’t feel stressed even though we
are. Sometimes we don’t feel hurt until we sit down and actually allow
ourselves to process the emotion.
This is what the vibration of this Aquarian New Moon calls
for us to do, not just now but throughout the entire year.
We all need to get better at feeling our emotions right now.
We need to stop burying or stuffing stuff away and allow ourselves to move
through the world with a little more emotional freedom.
Being emotionally free can make many of us, feel far too
vulnerable and far too open. Moving through the world this way can be a scary thing
and can send empathic qualities into overdrive.
But if 2020, with all its huge cosmic alignments and
planetary changes is trying to teach us anything, it’s that we have to open our
hearts deeper, wider & look deeply within.
The New Moon reminds us that an open heart is a ‘Strong Heart’.
It reminds us that when we allow ourselves to soften, the world ‘Softens’ back.
Mother Moon knows that moving through the world with an open
heart is a struggle for many, which is why she allows herself to move in
phases.
She shows us this when she is full and open and also when
she is dark and needs to retreat. Her heart is always open, she just works
differently according to her rhythms and cycles.
Just like the Moon, sometimes we need to wear our heart on
our sleeve and sometimes we need to love from a distance.
Lunar energy is strong all through 2020, and as we begin
this Lunar New Year with the first New Moon, we can all invite more openness
and emotional freedom into our lives.
We can all open our hearts big and wide, for there is new
space opening for us to tap into.
On a more surface note, the vibration around this Aquarian New
Moon is tense and erratic, so we may need to be mindful of this and find ways
to ground ourselves if we feel too overwhelmed.
But I feel that if we can all open our hearts a little wider
than we feel comfortable, and shine our heart energy out when we are feeling
overwhelmed or a little vulnerable, that something in that exchange will make us
feel safer and stronger, and more aligned in our power.
This is not to say that we need to allow ourselves to be
taken advantage of, or to keep giving when it is not serving us. Rather it is
about learning to own the power that comes through an open heart and learning
to use this to give more love towards ourselves and others.
Aquarius is the sign of the humanitarian and of community.
It is a sign associated with helping others and thinking about the collective.
There is so much trauma and tragedy in the world that if you
have any energy to even just give a little more love to yourself, to others, or
to the planet, then you should make this a priority, even if it’s just for a
few minutes this night of the Aquarian New Moon.
So yes, while the energy around this New Moon is all shades
of volatile and a time where you would think to protect your energy and hunker
down, I say listen to your intuition and do the opposite. Be brave and open
your heart a little wider.
Be safe about it, but courageous to love a little more and
to allow yourself to truly feel all you have tucked and buried away.
When you feel, you heal. And the healing doesn’t come from
dissecting the emotion with your mind, it comes from just simply allowing it to
move through your open heart, undisturbed and held in the space of full
belonging.
Let’s all pull down our barriers down a bit and as soon as we
feel the impulse to run and hide, let’s see if we can challenge ourselves to do
the reverse. We’ve all got this! And Mother Moon is on our side!
On January 20th the Sun shifted out of Earthy Capricorn into
the Air sign of Aquarius, the water bearer. Happy Birthday all you quirky
Aquarians out there. I’m surrounded by you and love your wacky ways ?
❤ ?
Aquarius is the 11th sign of the zodiac and is represented
by the water bearer. The water bearer has the unique gift of being able to take
the watery emotions of the planet and turn them into the lightness of air.
The water bearer gathers the collective vibrations in its
vessel in order to cleanse, purify, and restore them before returning them to
the Earth.
We too can mirror the work of the water bearer in our own
lives by honoring our true feelings and also clearing through any emotions that
no longer serve so we can feel light and airy.
In fact, this Aquarius Season, think about ways you can
bring some lightness and airiness into your life. Think about what watery
emotions are keeping you stuck out at sea and find ways to fly above it all so
you can be free of the crashing waves.
One way that Aquarius Season encourages us to do this is by
getting a birdseye perspective on things that are taking place in our lives.
While Aquarius is the water bearer, it is also an air sign, and we can use this
airy energy to lift ourselves higher to see things from above.
When we fly high and view our lives from beyond what we see
in front of us, we can gain a new perspective and remind ourselves that this
life is part of a much bigger tapestry that is almost impossible to really
understand.
We all come into this world to achieve a mission of sorts.
We all come here to experience love, to give love, and to receive love.
Aquarius Season, as the 11th and almost final cycle of the
zodiac, encourages us to look at the bigger picture, to get out of our own way,
and to stop focusing on just ourselves. We can all fall into the trap of
getting so caught up in our own lives and in our own problems that we forget
it’s not just about us.
We are each a thread in the tapestry of life, but if we focus
on our single thread for too long we lose sight of the tapestry. Sometimes, we
have to step back and remember that we are part of the whole.
Aquarius is the sign of the humanitarian and under the
Aquarius Sun, we are all reminded of the importance of thinking about others
and the fact that all of our thoughts and actions are co-creating life on this
planet.
We each have a responsibility through our thoughts, words,
and actions to make this world a safer and happier place for every plant,
animal, and person and this is the message the water bearer leaves with us as
we move through the Season.
One of the key events this Aquarius Season 2020, is the
Aquarius New Moon that falls on January 24th, and brings the start of the Lunar
New Year which will bring in the energy of the Rat, the first animal of the Chinese
Zodiac.
This New Moon carries the winds of change and will guide us
all to view our lives from a different perspective. Our lives may also receive
a shake-up under this new lunar cycle and we may find ourselves walking a path
we didn’t expect to find ourselves. I’ll post on the Aquarian New Moon shortly.
Over the last few months we have had a string of planets in
Capricorn and while this will still be in effect during Aquarius Season 2020,
the Sun moving into this air sign will help to bring some relief from all the
heavy earthy energy we have been working with.
Aquarius Season 2020 also gives us a taste of what’s to come
and the end of the year when we experience the Grand Conjunction of Jupiter and
Saturn in Aquarius.
The Grand Conjunction happens every 20 years and represents a new cycle in astrology. For the last 200 years, these defining conjunctions between Saturn and Jupiter have all taken place in Earth signs but now in 2020, it is time for the air signs to have their turn and Aquarius is first in line ❤
Sunday January 12th, we have a special alignment occurring in our Solar System, it is quite a rare alignment and it will make us feel the urge to stop and take notice. This alignment is the Saturn Pluto Conjunction falling at exactly 22 degrees in Capricorn. Although they will only come together once, their energy will create a ripple that will be felt the entire year and beyond.
Astrologically, a conjunction is the alignment of two
planets at the exact same degree of the zodiac. Conjunctions happen all the
time, it’s just that some are rarer than others.
Saturn and Pluto last aligned in 1982 in the sign of Libra,
but this time in 2020, they align in Capricorn, which is something none of us
alive today have experienced before or will again.
The rarity of Saturn and Pluto coming together in Capricorn
makes it special, and an alignment that all astrologers and those sensitive to
the cosmos are going to connect with.
So, What Can We Expect… One of the foundational principles of Astrology is- as above, so below.
We are all connected to the heavens and the stars, and we
can use the energies, formations, and alignments of the planets for clues on
what is happening in the world around us and outside of us.
Astrology helps us to understand what vibrations are
coursing through the cosmic skies, but how we feel those vibrations and
integrate them into our being is entirely up to us, which is why our experience
tends to be unique.
Saturn and Pluto aligning is one of those things we will all
feel differently and our experience of it will be different too, however there
are some important themes that we are likely to see, feel, and observe.
In fact, the energy of the Saturn-Pluto conjunction is
something we are likely to see playing out on the world stage because it is
such a strong and rare alignment.
The Saturn–Pluto cycle occurs roughly every 33 to 38 years,
varying according to Pluto’s highly elliptical orbit. This meeting of forces
represents, among other things, the redistribution of power in the world or, in
other words, which faction will make the decisions that affect the greater
collective, whether this occurs in plain sight or behind the scenes.
From a spiritual perspective, this cycle reflects a rite of
passage determining who is most qualified to be the custodian of resources, and
thus regulates who will be in a position of influence. In its purest form, this
cycle is one of the highest tests of integrity and morality for those in
authority, along with a test of capacity and resilience. Beyond the management
of power, this cycle is also about the skill to increase power and the value of
resources.
When we look to the past to see what unfolded under previous
Saturn-Pluto conjunctions, we find world wars, economic collapses, stricter
governments, a collapse of establishment in some way, and mass disease.
Saturn and Pluto don’t exactly have the greatest
reputations. Saturn is known to be cold, strict, stern, almost like that
unforgiving father figure that is never pleased no matter what you do or how
much you achieve.
Pluto is the planet of death and rebirth. It wants to destroy
things in order to create more power and more freedom. It wants to rise up,
strong and powerful like a Phoenix from the ashes, but sometimes the things
that rise up can be too domineering or power-hungry for their own good.
Saturn and Pluto are definitely darker planets on the
surface, but if we look a little deeper we can see that their darkness serves a
higher purpose that bursts forward a new light that is stronger than before.
On higher levels, Saturn is ambitious and knows how to set healthy boundaries in order to find success in life. It is hard-working, persistent, loyal, and will never let you down. Saturn symbolizes strength and the willpower to go on, even when you are met with challenge after challenge.
Pluto is also the artist of transformation in our lives. It
is the alchemy responsible for turning the caterpillar into a butterfly and
helping us to transcend the lessons we learn in this life so we can fly higher.
Pluto also represents the highest transformation of them
all, and that is the return to the love that we came from and the love that we
are.
Whatever these two conjure up for us throughout 2020, it is
certain that it will bring strong awakenings that will help to transform and
shift us to new waves of consciousness.
A new way is emerging and that is what Saturn and Pluto are working towards. Some of the energies of the Saturn-Pluto Conjunction…
On the highest vibration, Saturn and Pluto aligning would
help us to shift to a place of unconditional love, where we would all be able
to work hard, remain loyal to our cause, and to find our own definition of
success.
We can very much tap into this energy and achieve this for
ourselves in 2020 under these energies, but we are likely to see some of the
shadow stuff playing out too.
Life is full of duality, and while Saturn and Pluto aligning does have gifts, it can also bring a breakdown and a need to completely reorganise or rebuild things. Because of the strong Capricorn energy, this is most likely to play out in areas relating to our career, our ambition, and our definition of success.
On a global level, we are likely to see this energy playing out in areas relating to government, banking, and big corporations. These areas of society are destined to be in the spotlight under this energy resulting in either more power or complete destruction.
More likely than not, we will probably see both of these things happening in different ways and to varying degrees. Power struggles are also going to be a theme under this alignment.
We are going to be called to stand in our power and claim it back, or we may find ourselves too willing to hand it over to someone we think is going to help or save us. While it is fine to lean on others for support, there is a real lesson under this alignment of learning to stand in our power from a place of love.
We are all here on the planet under this special cosmic
alignment, and it is a chance for all of us to choose a different way for
ourselves and for the generations after us.
Love and Blessings ♥♥♥
Click here for a brief summary on The Saturn-Pluto Conjunction for your Sign ♥
Solar Storms are increasing with a big one said to hit us on Monday the 13th of January and will continue on for the rest of the week. 2020 is said to become a year of heightened Solar activity so this may just be the beginning… Many of us have been feeling the influence of the Solar & Geomagnetic activity since the New Year. The last few days it has been amped up again with many of us feeling out of whack, tired, fatigued, cold like symptoms and struggling with sleepless & insomnia despite the feelings of exhaustion.
These are real symptoms of the geomatic energy shifts happening on Earth due to the Solar activity. Science is beginning to recognise these symptoms as human experiences as well as the effect they have on our planets energy, magnetics & communications systems.
With potent Full Moon Lunar Eclipse energy rippling through us and the Saturn Pluto conjunction happening tomorrow, it is a good idea not to over stretch ourselves and just go with the flow, nurturing ourselves. Pushing our energy right now may leave us depleted and assimilating the positive energy on offer right here right now may take longer and we may even end up to the point of exhaustion and find out bodies force us to rest.
If we feel it and are sensitive to these energies during the Solar storms take a nap, say no to the 20 social engagements, chill out on the beach or read a book, paint a picture, travel within and resign to the nurturing.
Your body, mind and spirit will be thankful. And those who have the privilege & beauty of being able to see the borealis…. you may be in for a very special display!
On Friday the 10th of January we have a Full Moon falling in the watery sign of Cancer. This Full Moon is also a Penumbral Lunar Eclipse. There is “SO” much going on with this Cancerian Full Moon Eclipse, a long read is ahead ♥ the journey will be worth it thou xo CH ♥
The energy around the Cancerian Full Moon Eclipse is going to be massive. Firstly because in 2019 Cancer missed out on having a Full Moon fall in her sign. With the Moon being ruled by Cancer this was quite a big gap astrologically, especially for those who’s Sun falls in Cancer… and for those who have strong Cancerian energies within their natal charts.
Many ancient cultures believed that when the Full Moon fell
in our sign our pineal gland, the seat of our soul, would be activated,
allowing us to align deeper with the universe, our guides and the higher
dimensions around us.
Having the Full Moon in our sign typically happens once per
year, so when it does, it’s like we are being given access to special energies
that will guide us through the next 12 months.
To all those born under the Cancer Sun, 2019 offered you no
Full Moon. You missed out on your opportunity to receive the special wisdom and
illumination that comes when the Full Moon is in your sign.
Now, straight up in 2020, the first Full Moon of the year
falls in the sign of Cancer, but it’s not your average Full Moon. It is a Lunar
Eclipse. Now that Cancer has her moment,
she is going to be sure to use it to shine Super big!
All of us, no matter our sign, are going to feel the
Cancerian energies raining down hard on us under this Eclipse.
What adds to all of this energy is that the Sun, along with four other planets will be in Capricorn, forming what is known as a Stellium. This Capricorn Stellium will try to reign in Cancer’s
watery, emotional sensitivity, but this may only result in making things worse,
not better!
There are big aspects within the chart of this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse > see the chart below and at a glance you can see the strong oppositions and conjunctions occurring.
With so much happening in the Capricorn Stellium, the Cancerian
Moon feels she must and she definitely needs to have her moment. She will not let
the thoughtful, logical, practical Capricorn energy rain on her parade!
Cancer is coming out of her shell in all her glory to remind
us of its full power, and we are all going to get a good blast of it under this
potent Lunar Eclipse.
Lunar Eclipses can be harsh as they often clear a path for
us that we didn’t quite feel we were ready for. They can accelerate our journeys
by releasing something from our lives or illuminating truths that we need to release
in order to keep moving forward. And boom… it can be quite harsh!
As Cancerian energy will be strong, it is likely that this
Eclipse will be Super Emotional, and we may find ourselves feeling Extra Sensitive
or even irritable.
Lunar Eclipses are a great time to bring our attention
internally to the shifts we want to make within ourselves. Whether we can see
it or not, this is a potent time deal with emotional matters, shifting negative
thoughts and beliefs. This is a time to put our energy and our effort where we
want to see things moving forward during this time in our lives… this is a powerful
time of creation.
This Penumbral Lunar shadow will be most visible in Europe,
Asia, Australia, Africa, Much of North America, East in South America, Pacific,
Atlantic, Indian Ocean and the Arctic.
For the East Coast of NSW & VIC the Penumbral Eclipse will begin at 4:08 and end at 8:12 am
In brief… Sydney the peak will fall on January 11 at 6:21 am
For Los Angeles – January 10, 11:21 am
For New York – January 10, 2:21 pm
For London – January 10, 7:21 pm
For Delhi – January 11, 0:51 pm
No matter where you live on our glorious planet the effects
of the Lunar Eclipse will be felt even if it is not visible. The vibrational ripple
is sent out & felt across all of our planet and into the universe.
The aspects that are playing the major roles during the Full
Moon Lunar Eclipse are focused around communication because of Sun conjunct to Mercury.
But it is cold, harsh, ruthless and oppressive because of the authoritarian, dictatorial
influence of Saturn and Pluto.
This will mean that the Lunar Eclipse is emotionally very
challenging because the Moon is so afflicted by aspects. Sensitive, Timid people
and Empaths really need to protect yourself against bullies. If you are strong
you need to protect the more vulnerable family members and friends around you.
This Eclipse favors the hard liners, the powerful and wealthy.
The big oppositions include the Lunar Eclipse opposite to Mercury.
This causes emotional bias and polarized thinking that makes it harder to
understand and communicate our feelings. We may have difficulty making sense of
everyday problems, and misunderstandings or oversensitivity could lead to
arguments.
Addiction, racism, and prejudice may influence thoughts,
words, and behaviors. It is important to listen carefully and think before
speaking because of a tendency to react instinctively, especially when upset.
The Lunar Eclipse opposite Saturn can cause bad moods
because of sadness, boredom or loneliness. Difficulty in sharing our emotions
can lead to relationship problems. Downhearted feelings, pessimism and
emotional coldness could also make socialising difficult and challenging.
We may feel burdened or guilty about our responsibilities to
our partner or someone much older or younger, like a child or grandchild,
parent or grandparent. If you already have a tendency toward depression, you
will need to work hard to avoid your negative feelings manifesting as loss,
disappointment, and despair.
The Lunar Eclipse opposite Pluto causes inner turmoil and
relationship drama. Our feelings can intensify to such an extreme level that we
can no longer control our own reactions and behavior. We may experience
dramatic mood swings, feeling strong and sexy one moment then nose-diving into total
insecurity the next.
Some feelings that may pop up include hopelessness, fear,
jealousy, and obsessiveness. We might also be vulnerable to being emotionally
manipulated and controlled. But if we try to ignore or suppress our own intense
feelings, someone we are emotionally attached to may act out such extreme
behavior. Trying to control others will only end in guilt and shame.
Now this all sounds quite intense, horrible and negative but there are always polarities in the balance of energies at play. Always!!!
We in Australia are going through very intense situations with the horrific fires & drought effecting our country. A great sadness, shock, grief, sense of loss and lack of support & decisions from our government is affecting everyone.
The polarity to this is the overwhelming love and help from others, the banding together of communities, support from all over the planet helping us to support each other which in turn is cracking our hearts wide open in a very positive way. We all should hold on tightly to the positivity of kin-manship and look forward to the future in a positive loving light filled way to heal, rebuild, transform and rise up as the great tribe of Gondwana that we are ♥ ♥ ♥
This is the polarity of heart healing which plays a big role in the Cancerian Lunar Eclipse & we can see the unfolding of this for us during these intense times.
Cancer rules over the heart chakra and we may feel the
boundaries to dive right into our hearts and deepest feelings, which can be
both beautiful and painful at the same time. If we ignore the pull to take this
dive, we may become insular and harden.
Big Heart activations are possible under this intense yet energy
of growth. For those working deeply on heart healing, you can definitely use
this energy to push yourself that little further and open your heart center a
little more.
As this Lunar Eclipse falls in Cancer, our attention may
turn to our home and family environment or to our feelings of being at home
within ourselves.
We may feel caught up in family dynamics in some way or find
ourselves reflecting on what family or our relationships mean to us.
We may also find ourselves making space in our lives to feel
more at home within ourselves or to set better boundaries with the ones we
love.
We all tend to feel Eclipses a little differently, but all
of us are likely to notice themes emerging around our home and family
environment and the feelings that these things mean for us.
Saturn and Pluto are major players in the astrology of 2020,
and I will post on this influence shortly as they will kiss and conjunct each
other on the 12th…
During the Cancerian Full Moon Lunar Eclipse we are going to
have to work on being clear in how we communicate with others and how we
approach any difficult or tense conversations that may arise.
We may also be encouraged to speak our truth and to share our wisdom in a way that helps liberate us and release us from some of the heaviness that has been weighing us down. There is this sense that the truth will set us free, however
sometimes truths can be painful to hear at first.
Relationships again are the focus; we have to get clear and
clear out the crap. Some may find they are staying in relationships out of
feelings of duty, working a job they don’t love out of obligation or any
situation where they are sacrificing their own truth for someone else. We are all
being asked to stop settling. This can be hard as we are conditioned to swallow
our own desires and do for others. But we have to remember we must do for
ourselves as well.
Focus is important during this Eclipse Energy and we are
being reminded not to take on everything or spread ourselves too thin. The
energy is intense, and we must not let it drain us. Instead we should put our attention,
energy and effort on what it is we want to move forward with the most. This is
a powerful time to plan things out carefully before going ahead. Take the time
needed to put a plan in action. It will make the implementation of goals and
desires so much easier.
Overall, the Cancer Full Moon Lunar Eclipse is an
emotionally heavy one and will set the stage for the months to come. On the
polarity It will be guiding us to express ourselves, open our hearts, get in
touch with our emotions, and work on feeling at home within ourselves.
It may also stir up family dynamics or issues within the
home. We may also feel a need to speak our truth or we may find that a truth is
illuminated for us that changes our path and life direction.
The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse will definitely guide all of us in some way to release and let go of things that are no longer serving our highest purpose. We are being offered an opportunity to step up, move, release and leap forward on our journeys. It might be a bit rocky, but we are definitely ready.
On this New Year’s Eve…. I wish you all a magical New Year filled with happiness and joy. As we step into a New Year and a New Decade may many blessings come your way…. ❤ ❤ ❤
A sneak peek into January 2020… January 2020 is a power month and sets the stage for what’s
to come, not just for the year ahead but the decade ahead too.
The vibe & energy of January is about awakenings on all
levels and this is kickstarted with a potent Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on January
10th in the sign of Cancer.
Cancer missed out on a Full Moon falling in her sign in 2019, which means that this Eclipse is not going to go by unnoticed! She’s ramping it up, how dare the crab Goddess miss out on her Full Moon turn !!
So, Cancerian energy will be super strong and waves of emotionally charged emotions will be on offer in order to inspire us to release, shed our skins, transform and let go.
On a Lunar Eclipse, the Universe opens a portal of energy
that allows it to swoop in and release something for us that we weren’t quite
ready to let go of in order to keep us moving forward and accelerating higher.
While Eclipses advance our soul journey, our human selves
are often left to play catch up which is why they can sometimes be a jarring
experience.
All of us will feel the Cancer Lunar Eclipse energies
differently, but this will be a heightened time where we will all feel called
to release and let go of something.
Interestingly 2020 will bring us 6 Eclipses… We typically
have four Eclipses each year- two Solar Eclipses and two Lunar Eclipses, but this
year it will be six Eclipses! This won’t happen again until 2029.
What is even more interesting however, is that four of these
Eclipses are Lunar Eclipses!
Having four Lunar Eclipses can be a little intense as they
are usually more jarring than a Solar Eclipse. It enhances this message from
the Universe that big shifts and changes are on the way. More on that later…
Following the potent Cancerian Full Moon Eclipse… on January
12th we have the long-anticipated Saturn-Pluto conjunction in the sign of
Capricorn.
This alignment is extremely rare and carries life-changing,
transformative energy that will play a role in shaping the entire year. In fact, the alignment of Saturn and Pluto is one of the
most significant cosmic energies we will experience in our lifetime!
Saturn and Pluto aligning brings many layers to unpack… more on that later again ?
Saturn and Pluto aligning so close to the Eclipse does create a little heaviness and it is likely that whatever we are called to release is going to really shift and transform us in almost a life-changing way.
While these power days happen almost back to back, they tend
to affect us on a subconscious level first, so we may have to be patient and
watch to see what happens.
In fact, it may not be till the end of the year that we will
really be able to make sense of what seeds and transformations were planted in
this very special month of January.
To add to this energy, right in between these dates on January 11, we have Uranus going direct after being retrograde since August 11, 2019.
If we have been feeling unclear about something or uncertain,
Uranus going direct will help bring some clarity. This will also be enhanced by
the illuminating effects of the Eclipse too.
With all of this energy in the first few weeks of January,
we may be feeling a little all over the place, upside down & totally spaced
out!
These astrological energies are very strong, and this
sometimes can leave us feeling a little anxious, restless, or heavy. Regardless, this crazy period will be putting us on our path
and sending us forward on where we need to be!
Then on January 20th, the Sun moves out of Capricorn into the
sign of Aquarius. After the strong Capricorn energy, we have experienced the
last few weeks, this will feel like a burst of fresh air.
Aquarius is an air sign, so we are going to feel a little
more light and airy, especially after the strong alignments that have taken
place.
Following this on January 24-25th, we have the first New
Moon of the year in the sign of Aquarius.
This New Moon carries the energy of change, upheaval, and
may even bring more awakenings. This is because Uranus, the planet of change
and awakening will be very active at this time.
Uranus shakes things in our lives in order to awaken us to a
new way of being. As things shake, we can feel unsettled and uncertain, but
sometimes we need this to happen in order to discover our strengths and a new
way to be.
The Aquarius New Moon also marks the start of the Chinese
New Year. We move out of the year of the Yin Earth Pig and into the
year of the Yang Metal Rat.
According to Chinese Astrology, the Rat is the first sign in the zodiac wheel, indicating the start of a fresh cycle and a new wave of energy. (I’ll have more on this soon too 😉 ❤
Overall, January is a busy, powerful, and super-charged month and we are going to have to pay extra attention to our health and wellbeing. Protecting our energy, practicing self-care, and creating a
grounding routine is going to be important.
January’s energy carries a strong sense of destiny to it, so
wherever we find ourselves carries some pretty strong clues as to what our soul
desires to accomplish on our journeys.
Today, December 26th we welcome the start of Eclipse Season
with a New Moon Solar Eclipse in the Earth sign of Capricorn.
This Solar Eclipse has a very positive chart because the Sun
and Moon align with Jupiter, the planet of growth, abundance and good luck. Another
good aspect to Uranus adds positive change and excitement. The New Moon Partial
Solar Eclipse effects last for six months instead of the normal four weeks.
That works out very well for us all because this is the one
of the best Eclipses I can remember. The Eclipse will be visible in the Middle
East, Southern India, South East Asia some parts of North Western Australia.
For us in NSW the Eclipse will begin just after 4pm today and even though we
are unable to see the Eclipse the energy will be felt the same as anywhere on
the planet.
On a Solar Eclipse, a new doorway is opened that helps to
push and advance us further on our soul path.
A new way will begin to unfold. This new way may appear
subtle at first. Perhaps it will begin as a new thought or a new feeling, and
then slowly it will shift into taking a new action.
It’s almost like this Eclipse opens a new stream of energy
which we can take and download into our lives.
How we download it is up to us and where we are on our
journey, but all of us are going to be changed, all of us are going to be
awakened in some way.
The energy surrounding this Solar Eclipse is abundant and
expansive.
There are opportunities here to really plant seeds that will
turn into the tallest, most luscious trees.
The days following this Solar Eclipse are perfect for
setting intentions and thinking about what goals and ambitions we want to take
on in the new year.
While we can set intentions at this time, we may also have
to be patient and see what this Eclipse brings in.
We may find that this new doorway changes what we desire or
makes way for new intentions we wouldn’t have considered earlier.
There is also strong energy around this Eclipse that is
calling on us to transcend childhood patterns or unleash our inner child.
We may experience a healing on an inner-child level, or we
may discover that we no longer need to hold onto patterns or traumas that we
have collected through our upbringing.
Alternatively, we may discover that we need to stop taking
everything so seriously, to lighten up, and to bring the energy of child-like
play back into our lives.
There is a strong sense around this Eclipse of being able to
transcend any family drama or family karma and shift it in a harmonious way.
Because this Eclipse falls around the holidays and many of
us will be with family or thinking about family, we can really use this as an
opportunity to rise above any unhealthy dynamics or patterns that no longer
serve us or bring out the best in us.
We can also use this harmonious Eclipse energy to forgive,
heal, set boundaries, and to practice loving kindness and compassion.
Sometimes accepting our family for who they are, flaws and
all, can be incredibly healing and can allow us look past how they may not have
fulfilled the roles they were supposed to.
Capricorn energy is not the most expressive or emotional. It
is practical and likes to keep things logical. However, this energy may come to
help us around this time.
Family dynamics can often get emotional and heated very
quickly, but how can we look at things from a more practical, black and white
mindset? How can we look beyond our emotions and just focus on the facts?
We may find that by doing so, we feel a little more at ease
about whatever comes up or whatever family dynamics we are being called to work
through.
If any tensions do rise at this time, try to focus on the
facts. Try to see things from a logical point of view, rather than getting
swept up in emotion.
Of course, this is easier said than done, but if you feel
triggered, especially around family, see if you can lean in deeper to release
whatever the trigger point is.
Sometimes you need a little time and space to figure this
all out, but know the Eclipse energies will be supporting you.
As the vibrations around this time are extremely harmonious,
any issues are likely to be ironed out quickly and result in more love and more
understanding.
Overall, the Solar Eclipse carries abundant energies and
will open a new doorway into a new stream of consciousness.
Its energy is expansive, protective, and harmonious and will
feel like a gift from the Universe.
This is something we have been working hard all year to
receive, so be sure to open yourself and welcome in the shifting, awakening
energies this Eclipse brings.
2020 promises something different than the years before, and
the doorway to this new wave of energy starts under this December Solar
Eclipse.
No matter what unfolds on this day, the energies will lift
us up and prepare us for the incredible cosmic waves that are set to begin come
the new year.
We are all being called to level up, to rise up, and to step
into a new power and this Eclipse will be lighting the way.
