Pisces Full Moon ♥

Tuesday the 21st of September, we have a Full Moon rising in the water sign of dreamy Pisces. The Moon represents our emotions. It governs our emotional body and is strongly linked to how we are feeling. The Moon is also connected to our feelings of safety and security.

The Moon is also linked to feminine energy. This energy is present in all living things, and on a potent Full Moon, we may find issues arising when it comes to our relationship with the feminine. Sometimes we can see this playing out in significant female relationships in our lives too.

Under the light of the Pisces Full Moon, we may feel more emotional, extra sensitive, extra creative, and extra intuitive.

Intuition is often described as a feeling of knowing. Often, you don’t have any concrete proof or reason for feeling the way you do, it is just a strong sense of knowing.

In many ways, this place is where the September Full Moon is calling us to go. It’s calling us to step out of our rational mind and into our feeling space. It is calling for us to disconnect from seeking evidence and instead, allow ourselves to connect with our feelings.

The Pisces Full Moon will also illuminate where we may be deceiving ourselves. Where in our day-to-day lives do, we tell ourselves that we are going with the flow but in some cases, we are struggling to swim upstream? Do we tell ourselves we are feeling fine when emotionally we may be all over the place? Are your actions harmonious with our feelings and our ideals? If not, the Pisces Full Moon will highlight where we need to refocus and what we need to release.

All Full Moons are a time of energetic release, and the Pisces Full Moon will shine on any areas that need to be released especially on an emotional level

Think about what you no longer wish to hold onto. Send it love and gratitude, and then under the bright light of the Full Moon, breathe it all away.

The Pisces Full Moon will also shine brightly on the lessons we still need to learn about responsibly relating while balancing our need for freedom and independence. The aspects between Venus and Saturn challenges us to explore the dark side of jealousy, manipulation, and vengefulness while teaching us to find the gold in human relationships and interactions, even though relating can bring extreme messiness and chaos. This is the time to dive deeply into what makes our relationships tick. There is wisdom to find and treasure to retrieve here.

Neptune, the planet of illusions, dreams, and intuition is very active under this Full Moon. Whenever Neptune is active, it can create some foggy energy. We may feel like we are wading through a thick forest, unable to see what is ahead. It may be harder to make decisions or to think with a clear mind.

Neptune can also evoke our emotions, allowing us to see what is bubbling beneath the surface. Our emotions are not always our truth, but they are always valid, and they can be guides as to what we may need to explore, look at, or dive deeper into.

Emotions can be deceiving, so it is best not to label or judge them. Instead, allow them. Imagine them as visitors, coming and going, ebbing, and flowing. Sometimes our emotions just want to be heard and seen. Sometimes when we allow them to rise, they can then so gracefully fall away.

Neptune is also strongly connected with water and the oceans. Spending time at the beach or by the creeks can be an elixir to the soul under the Pisces Full Moon.

This Full Moon is strong in the Air element, asking us to align our words with the ideals they represent in connection with society and all humankind. Change is in the Air, but again, depending on what side of the fence you are on, change may be hard to recognize. Rather than looking at what constantly divides us, Pisces Full Moon asks us to release what keeps us from admitting we are one humanity that shares one Earth

The Pisces Full Moon, along with the energies of Neptune, makes a fantastic combination for all artistic and creative activities. Getting creative also helps to ground us.

Although the energy surrounding the Pisces Full Moon is good for connecting with our intuition and our creative dreams, there is a chance it can also feel overwhelming and push us into a place of emotional instability.

This can also manifest as a feeling of needing to escape from reality or escape from the pressures of our life. While some forms of escapism can be healthy, there are other forms that can do us harm.

This is just something to be aware of under the energy of this Pisces Full Moon. If we feel the need to escape, we need to look at healthy outlets such as getting creative in whatever form, write, meditate, dance or curling up with a good book, or even finding a good movie to disappear into.

Overall, the Pisces Full Moon of September is a dreamy, creative, and intuitive time. While we may feel extra sensitive, there is a beauty in connecting with the subtler frequencies of the world around us. There is also a beauty in connecting with the ebbs and flows of our emotional body.

While every emotion we feel may not be our highest truth, part of our human experience is to allow ourselves to feel and experience emotion

It is through our experience that we become more compassionate, more open, more aware, and more kind. It is through our emotions that we can begin to understand on a deeper level what is driving us and where our intentions may be coming from.

Allow yourself to explore your emotional rhythms under this Full Moon. Embrace what flows without judgement, let it move through you like a wave, and trust the intuitive instincts and whispers that are left behind as you do.

Aquarius Full Moon ♥

Sunday the 22nd of August, we have a Full Moon rising in the sign of Aquarius. This will be the second Aquarius Full Moon of the year with the previous one being in July. The Aquarian Full Moon is also a seasonal Blue Moon. It is rare to have two Full Moons back to back in the same zodiac sign and indicates strong transformative Aquarian energy on offer & that the two Moons are linked.

What was focused on around the first one in July is again focused on with this second one in August. It may be that something started in July and finishes in August, or we get an idea of things in July and see culminations in August. This can be a bit time for culminations and results, and this may focus on change, the future, our dreams, or the masses.

Aquarius is represented by the water bearer, which has the ability to take the emotions (water) of the world, transmute them using the power of air, and return them to the earth cleansed and renewed. Whenever we have strong Aquarian energy, we receive added support to shift and clear dense energies.

During the Aquarian Full Moon, there is the potential to amplify change, activate our desire for greater freedom, or shine a spotlight on all that needs to be revolutionized in our lives.

Aquarius energy is all about doing things differently and stepping away from our comfort zone in order to experiment with something new. It encourages innovation, growth, and looking at things from a new perspective.

The Aquarian Full Moon is extra strong because it occurs at 29 degrees. 29 degrees is the last degree of a Zodiac sign and is called the anaretic degree. In transit, it’s a point of crisis energy. So, the culminations and results we may see can have a major impact on us, and we have to make sure we’re reacting appropriately, not lashing out or rushing. This is hot energy, and we have to be smart!

With the Sun also winding up its journey through Leo at the time of this Full Moon, there is an added boost of creative and courageous energy on offer to us, which can be used to help any new visions take flight.

While Full Moons typically represent completion points, know that there are creative energies on offer to help take any endings and shift them into new potentials.

Aquarius also rules over technological advancements and policies that are put in place to protect the whole, rather than just the individual.

While focusing on the community and the whole is great, when it swings too far out of balance, Aquarian energy can sometimes be too quick to bypass the emotional, compassionate side of humanity and instead, can look at things from a more technical and machine-like viewpoint.

We may see more of these themes come to light, especially on a global level, under the second wave of this Aquarius Full Moon.

Know that with Aquarius energy, it is all about seeing things from a new perspective, keeping an open mind, and finding ways to stay out of black and white thinking.

Jupiter, which is currently retrograde in the sign of Aquarius is also conjunct this Full Moon, making its energy very active.

Jupiter expands what it touches, so it’s likely that whatever is manifesting for us under this Full Moon will be loud, bold, and clear for all to see. Jupiter tries to make things better, since Jupiter doesn’t like anything serious or intense or negative. But Jupiter can expand on anything, including the bad. Jupiter just makes it easier to make it better if you put in the effort.

Saturn, the traditional ruler of Uranus, aligns harmoniously with planet Venus. Venus trine Uranus is wonderful for dealing with long-term investments and commitments. It is also an excellent opportunity to work through any relationships or financial problems there might be in your life. Any artistic or creative work can result in heightened productivity.

There is no guesswork with this August Full Moon, it will deliver what it needs to deliver and will take what it needs to take.

Trust your instincts and try not to second guess yourself. The energies of this Full Moon are strong and courageous, so connect with that place and push ahead in whatever direction feels right to you.

On a deeper level, this Full Moon is guiding us to connect to the energies of our past in order to use them as fuel for our future.

We may have had to let go of so much over the last year. We may find ourselves standing in an empty field, wondering where our “old life” has disappeared to.

There is a beautiful frequency flowing in with this Full Moon that reminds us that no matter where we stand today, the power and love that we have cultivated in the past still exists.

While we may be looking at a totally different life, the energy of our past achievements still remain, and we can use that power, that love, and that strength of our past and apply it to this new chapter that is waiting for us.

All is not lost. There is wisdom in the air. There is an energy dancing in the breeze of all who have traveled on this land before us and all who will travel on this land after us.

We can connect with that energy; we can connect with that breeze and feel into the strength and wisdom that it offers.

So many things have transpired on this Earth. Good things, bad things, tragic things, heroic things; so many lives and stories have graced the surface of this planet, and all that energy, all of that fuel, is carried in the wind.

Under the Aquarian Full Moon, we can connect to the energy that reminds us of our strength, our power, and our courage. We can connect to the energy that created the rivers and the mountains and some of the greatest ancient civilizations.

We can connect to our ancestors, their voices, and their wisdom. We can connect to the life force that lives all around us and will continue to live on till the end of time.

There are strong cosmic currents linked to this Full Moon. It is a time of expansion, clarity, and honoring the changes within us. It is a time for making clear-cut decisions and for trusting our instincts.

It is also a time to remember that all your past achievements and successes exist as energy. They surround you and support you and are there to be used by you under the light of the Full Moon.

Tune in with that energy and recreate it in a new and better way. Tune in with that energy under the Aquarian Full Moon and use it to surrender to the new.

Super Blood Moon Eclipse ♥

This Wednesday the 26th of May we have a Super Blood Moon Eclipse falling in the sign of Sagittarius… and for most parts of Australia it will be visible weather permitting.

The Eclipse takes place just a few hours after the Moon reaches perigee, the closest point to Earth on its orbit, making it a Super Blood Moon.

This Eclipse also marks the beginning of an “almost tetrad” because it kicks off a series of four big Lunar Eclipses in two years. Three of these Eclipses are total, while one of them, on November 18-19, 2021, is a deep partial Eclipse. So deep that it is almost a total Eclipse.

The Penumbral Eclipse begins at 6:50pm for us on the East Coast of Australia & the Full Eclipse begins at 9:11pm with its peak at 9:18pm. The duration of the Full Eclipse lasts around 14 minutes, so fingers crossed for cloud free skies.

Blood Moon Eclipses are quite special and get their name due to the reddish colour the Moon takes on when there is a Total Eclipse.

The ancient civilizations often saw them as ominous and signaling troubled times ahead. Astrologically a Blood Moon Eclipse are about sudden change or a need to transform or shift our lives in a new direction. The spiritual tone behind this Blood Moon Eclipse is about ethics and morals.

Falling in the sign of Sagittarius the Blood Moon Eclipse takes on Sagi vibrations. Sagittarius rules over the higher mind and wisdom. Its energy allows us to focus on the bigger picture and to see things from a more expansive point of view.

Represented by the arrow of the archer, Sagittarius energy allows us to set our intentions and aim our arrow in that direction. Even though our intention guides its journey, it is not in our complete control as to where it is going to land.

Whatever unfolds at the time of this Eclipse, we can connect with Sagittarian energy for guidance. Use it to focus on the bigger picture, see if we can expand our mindset, and look at things from a more abundant perspective.

We need to trust and honor wherever our arrow has landed, even if it is not where we thought it would end up. Knowing that the time will soon come for new intentions to be set, and a new adventure to unfold.

On a Blood Moon Eclipse, we may find that something is released from our lives or a path is cleared for us, even if we were not necessarily looking for a clearing.

The thing with Eclipses is that they put us where we need to be. They represent portals that elevate and push us to that next chapter and to a higher evolution of our soul. They represent a quantum jump into a new and higher state of consciousness.

We need to trust what falls away from our lives around the time of an Eclipse, even if it feels challenging, for Eclipses are often direct messages from the Cosmos that it is time to let go.

Due to planetary aspects around the Super Blood Moon Eclipse, we may also discover secrets or hidden information rising to the surface. It is this information that may inspire change or transformation, but it is this information that can also give rise to an awakening.

Knowledge is power, and we may very well find that this new information can give us much-needed clarity and answers to where we are heading and what our next steps need to be.

Mercury, the planet of communication will be close to Venus at the time of this Eclipse, signaling a time to speak from the heart, to speak with compassion, and to come from a place of love, not fear.

Eclipses can affect us all differently, but we are all bound to feel the deep stir of emotions that they can bring.

Full Moons are always a time where our own emotions can bubble to the surface, and on an Eclipse, especially a Blood Moon Eclipse, this can be amplified.

As the Moon falls into the darkness, it symbolizes all our own dark emotions rising to the surface. All the shadows that have lurked behind the scenes suddenly come into our awareness.

Honor any emotions that come, but if you begin to feel overwhelmed, it may help to give yourself space and compassion until the Eclipse energies have passed.

As Eclipses are powerful, we may not reach the other side of its energy until the Solar Eclipse of June, so be patient and know that any funky things will soon pass.

Blood Moon Eclipses are also said to bring an increase in extreme weather and can also amplify tensions that are playing out on the global stage.

As the shadow falls across the face of the Moon, our intuitive & hidden powers are elevated. We are encouraged to take our focus off the 3D world and enter into the unseen world of spirit, higher consciousness, and infinite possibilities.

Eclipses are magical events that are gifts from the Universe and put us where we need to be. They challenge us to walk that bridge into a new state of our evolution. They bring change but they also bring awakening and an opportunity to level up on our soul path.

Aspects

The Moon is square Jupiter which is not usually that challenging and the orb for this aspect is over four degrees which is not strong. But this is a total Lunar Eclipse, and all the other significant aspects are very challenging. The Eclipse is also affected by nasty Mars-Saturn-type stars. So, the more negative qualities of Jupiter are likely to be expressed. These include greed, excess, waste, immorality, overconfidence, and over-optimism.

We may experience changeable moods and changing tastes can present relationship difficulties. You may also have to watch a tendency toward excess when it comes to food, alcohol, drugs, and gambling, especially if you have problems with addiction.

Mercury & Neptune stays within a two-degree orb from May 25 to June 9 because Mercury stations retrograde on May 29. So, confusion, deception, insecurity, and misunderstanding have a major influence on the Super Blood Moon.

This aspect can distort our thinking which can complicate discussions and business dealings. So, it is important to listen carefully and speak in simple, clear terms. Allow no room for misinterpretation. If you must deal with any very important business, government, or legal matters, seek professional advice or help from a trusted friend.

There is some icky energy floating around about treachery and scandal. Even little white lies could lead to major embarrassment or the need for more convoluted cover-ups. Avoid conspiracy theories or strange and extreme spiritual and religious views. Protect yourself against loan sharks, pushy salespeople, cult leaders, and psychic vampires.

Venus & Neptune gives a heightened need for tenderness but also increases the risk of over-idealization. A tendency to form a distorted image of someone else could lead to disappointment, scandal, and being taken advantage of. Matters of trust may become an issue in relationships.  Low self-esteem and feelings of insecurity are possible.

With both Mercury and Venus square Neptune, it is very easy to become confused, deceived, and generally get the wrong impression. This applies to our thoughts, communications, love life, finances, business dealings, and our health and diet.

Saturn square Uranus brings restrictive change or unexpected restrictions. It can bring change that we don’t really want. It also makes it harder to make the kind of changes we do want. This can be a very frustrating time of rising tension and sudden, expected changes. But it does not have to be like that. If we stay open-minded, patient and flexible, what at first seem like challenges, can be turned into opportunities to rid ourselves of negative, restrictive, and limiting things in our lives.

Things will become clearer and move forward with more ease with the sister Solar Eclipse in June.

We can use the energy of the Lunar Eclipse to dive in deep, connect with our inner, true self. Recognise that any changes or transformations that unfolding are part of our destiny and are there to take us to the next chapter of our story.

Scorpio Super Full Moon ♥

Tuesday the 27th of April, we have our first Super Full Moon for the year falling in the water of Scorpio.

A Super Full Moon occurs when the Moon is closer to Earth. This not only makes the Moon appear bigger and brighter in the sky, but it also increases its magnetic potency. There are some intense energies at play during the Scorpio Super Full Moon & the lead up to it is bringing up things up already.

The Scorpio Super Full Moon will shine the spotlight on our deepest secrets and vulnerabilities, helping us to face the truth and own our power. Scorpio is also a sign that values privacy.

So right now, we may not be inclined to share our emotional peaks and heartfelt insights with the outside world. And that’s ok! We need to do what’s necessary to protect our energy.

As this Full Moon falls in the watery sign of Scorpio, and the Moon is ruled by the element of water, we may also find ourselves feeling extra sensitive and in touch with our higher senses.

Our intuition may speak to us with more clarity, or it may be easier for us to pick up on the energies of those around us. This can be a tricky time for empaths so protecting our own energy is very important.

Heightened senses can help us to travel into a deeper state of awareness and understanding. Our intuition is a valuable superpower, and on this Super Full Moon, it will be easier to access.

The Scorpio energies present at this Full Moon also indicates that what we are called to release and let go of may be psychic or energetic in nature.

We pick up on the energies around us whether we realize it or not, and sometimes those energies can stick with us. By clearing our energetic body, we can return to a state of completeness and balance.

Under the light of the Scorpio Super Full Moon is a perfect time to take the time to energetically cleanse our bodies. Working with crystals, sound, burning sacred herbs or taking a magnesium bath are just a few ways we can do this.

This sensitive Scorpio Full Moon not only supports psychic cleansing and release, but it also holds some illuminating and awakening energy.

Secrets may be revealed, or new information may come to the surface under the influence of this Full Moon. We may also find ourselves looking back over the last few months and receiving more understanding on some of the decisions we have made.

Scorpio energy is ruled by Pluto, and just a day after this Full Moon, Pluto enters the underworld for its annual retrograde.

Pluto shifting retrograde shortly after the Full Moon indicates that whatever we are being guided to release could link back all the way to October of last year.

Events from this time may resurface, or we may find ourselves needing to clear any psychic or emotional baggage that we have taken on since this time.

Pluto is the planet of death and rebirth, so keep in mind that whatever has fallen away has not been lost. It is simply undergoing a transformation and you may start to see signs of the rebirth under this Scorpio Full Moon.

Uranus, the planet of awakening and surprise, is also very active on this Full Moon. The presence of Uranus indicates that something may catch us off guard, or we may experience a sudden change of events.

In fact, the whole week leading up to the Full Moon offers some of this erratic Uranus energy, so there’s a good chance we may be feeling a little frazzled by the time the Scorpio Full Moon rises. Staying grounded is the key. A little stroll on the beach or in the forest is perfect to bring us back into awareness.

Sometimes when agitated or anxious energy arises, we want to push it away. But what Scorpio energy tries to show and teach us is that sometimes the only way out is through. Instead of trying to skim over the surface, we instead, dive in, and allow ourselves to explore whatever we find, no matter how uncomfortable it can be.

There is a power in learning to be present in the uncomfortable emotions that life brings us. So, while self-care is so important under the Full Moon energy, we need to give ourselves the opportunity to dive into any chaos if we feel we are called to.

The Scorpio Super Full Moon holds some intensity, heightened emotions and sensitivity but as always there is much healing on offer by releasing & cleansing not just physically but energetically too.

Libra Full Moon ♥

Monday the 29th of March, we have the first Full Moon for the Astrological New Year falling in the sign of Libra.

At the time of this Libra Full Moon, Venus, Chiron, and the Sun will all be aligned. The Moon will also make a perfect triangle configuration to both Saturn and Mars, known as a Grand Trine. The Libran Full Moon will be quite close to Earth, not considered a Super Moon but very close to one.

All this combined gives the Libran Full Moon some potent energies. Full Moons are always a time of release, and we may find ourselves in a state of natural cleansing and clearing of the past.

As the Equinox and a new astrological cycle has begun the Libran Full Moon is supporting us to let go of all that we no longer need to carry and to create space for new fresh energy.

When we first started this zodiac cycle back in March of 2020, the world was a different place. We have all changed. We have all evolved and grown.

We have all had new experiences that have shaped and moved us, and this Full Moon is our chance to acknowledge and release all that no longer needs to be with us.

Libran Full Moons are energetically about relationships and other people, so we can be extra focused on that. We may work on being more emotionally connected with the people we care about, and we can express more of what we feel with others. Others may be more expressive with us as well, and this can help open up emotional pathways, but we also need to make sure we’re not creating drama.

Libran Full Moons are also times when we feel the need to surround ourselves with peace and harmony. When we are not dealing with chaos, we can be much more decisive and emotionally secure. If we have chaos to deal with, it can throw us off in a big way, and we can struggle with seeing things clearly or making a sound judgment.

Libra is the sign of balance, so Libran Full Moons are great times to work on eliminating blocks to achieve balance in our lives. The more balanced we feel, the easier it can be to deal with everything.

The Full Moon is opposite Venus in Aries, and Venus is the natural ruler of Libra, so we may not be as comfortable with this Full Moon as we are with the New Moon in March.

We may be at odds, deal with oppositional and aggressive people, and there can be a degree of competition that needs to be toned down. We have to work on compromise and diplomacy, and not identify so strongly with our positions that we don’t see possible solutions right in front of us.

Venus & Chiron are both in Aries opposite the Full Moon in Libra. They lie with the Sun in Aries, which shines upon the Moon in Libra. Venus and Chiron together are a beautiful and complex combination.

Venus calls us into the love that lies at the centre and supporting all creation; and Chiron shows us the path to get there. A path that involves genuine healing and remembrance of our power.

Chiron is known as the wounded healer. Where he appears, he calls us into that wounding that stands between who we think we are the who we truly are. You might think of that like the wounded child and the divine child within…or even simpler the ego and the soul.

His meeting with the energy of the Sun + Venus is a calling to look at all those blocks (normally stemming from one very core wounding) that stop the realisation of love within. There are many paths to work through this, and all of them lead to the realisation that we are love.

If we notice old woundings resurfacing, we should allow this Full Moon to take us on a healing journey. To take from us the resistance we hold within to the bigger journey we are on (yes, this Moon is very much about divine destiny) which is calling us back to love.

This is a time to see that no relationship, no partner, no amount of passion, no amount of sex, no amount of distraction is going to fix this problem on our behalf. In our hands are the keys to the realisation of our own love (no one else).

The other astrological alignment that sweetens up the Libra Full Moon is the Grand Trine alignment between the Moon, Mars, and Saturn.

These three will form a perfect triangle, which is said to bring protection, harmony, and ease.

A Grand Trine is considered a positive omen, where things flow in an easy and smooth direction.

Both Mars and Saturn can be intense planets to work with, but in this formation, they offer us motivation, dedication, longevity, and the willpower to make it through any difficulties.

This Full Moon Grand Trine is a sign, that whatever hardship or struggles we are currently facing will soon pass, especially if we take positive action, use our inner strength, and source from the wisdom of those that have come before us.

The combination of Mars, Saturn, and the Moon also indicates rewards after hard work. Full Moons also represent harvest and completion points, so many may find themselves at the end of the road on a long journey they have been working hard to complete.

The Libran Full Moon is a time to recognize our hard work and to give acknowledgement to all we have achieved & become since to beginning of the last cycle back in March 2020. It is also the time we begin a new cycle taking our new energy & knowledge forward on the journey.

Virgo Full Moon ♥

Saturday the 27th of February, we have a Full Moon falling in the Earth sign of Virgo.

Virgo is represented by the virgin-goddess, but “virgin” has taken on a new meaning since this sign was named. Virgin implies independence, inner strength, and the freedom to do as one pleases.

The Virgin Goddess, Virgo, did not need a partner, she was whole and complete in her own right. She carried the strength of all she needed to live a whole, happy, and hearty life. This strength was not born out of trauma or ego, but her connection to her true and higher self.

After all the intensity and the rare cosmic alignments that have taken place during this month, the Earthy Virgo Full Moon brings a more calming vibration.

2021 is destined to be a transformative year and even though there is so much more to unfold, the Virgo Full Moon reminds us that we have arrived in the right place.

February has been a pivotal month seeing as it brought the Aquarius Stellium– a lineup of four planets in the air sign of Aquarius, and the first of three Saturn Uranus Squares, which is a major and defining vibration for the rest of the year.

These energies combined may have led us to make some drastic changes in our lives. We may have felt called to find a new freedom, or perhaps, with all this air energy, we have felt very caught up in our minds and mental chatter.

We may have found ourselves considering between two options or feeling uncertain about so many things. We may have found our mind working in overdrive, assessing, questioning, and even deeply reflecting on the past.

Under the power of this Virgo Full Moon however, there is a calm that can wash over us. There is a calm that can remind us that it is always in our power to make the best of wherever we have landed.

The Virgo Full Moon is linked to Saturn square Uranus. So, the spiritual meaning of this Full Moon relates to making or dealing with difficult changes.

However, the energy around the Full Moon makes positive change more likely and easier to implement. It is ideal for making changes that are long overdue. This is a good full moon for freeing yourself of burdens that are no longer our responsibility.

Making necessary or difficult changes is always a challenge on many levels & feeling at peace with change is not always easy, but any effort taken to bring some acceptance, as small as it is, can make a huge difference to our inner wellbeing.

Full Moons are always a time of illumination, however due to the energies around this Full Moon, it seems that whatever needs to come to the surface may arrive before the Full Moon does.

As the Full Moon peaks however, it feels that things may settle. While Full Moons tend to heighten emotions, it feels that the Virgo Full Moon is a little softer in its energy and will perhaps allow us to see things from a new, and gentler vantage point.

Virgo’s ability to connect with their higher self, listen to the needs of their body, and follow their heart while staying grounded, is the gift that is offered to us all under this February Full Moon.

Many different things block us from our connection with our higher self. But like the Virgin Goddess reminds us, we always have the strength within to clear those blocks and listen to the truth and wisdom of our higher self.

There is a tendency at times, for Virgo energy to be hyper-critical, or to overthink things, so we need to be aware of this, and try to return to our heart centre if we notice ourselves falling down this path.

Aspects for the Virgo Full Moon

Saturn square Uranus … Can create a conflict between responsibility and independence, stability and change, duty, and freedom, traditional and progressive, obedience and rebellion, routine and excitement, religion and science, conservative and liberal, sane and crazy, old and new, and the past and the future.

As a result, changes can occur that we do not want or are challenging to cope with. Or it can be harder to make positive changes, the kind of changes we do want. Changes in government or corporation rules and laws could restrict our choices or restrict our freedom.

Full Moon & Saturn… May create an imbalance between our personal and professional life, or between our emotional needs and those of others. At times, we may feel forced to carry out our duties without having emotional security. At other times we might feel emotionally secure but neglect our duties.

This makes it difficult to maintain harmony in intimate relationships because of emotional coldness, feeling of guilt and fear, or having to attend to other responsibilities.

If this is the case, an adjustment may be needed in our level of responsibility. The best way to handle this rebalancing is with self-control, patience, dedication, trust, loyalty, and forgiveness.

Full Moon & Uranus… Gives the self-awareness, freedom, creativity, and intuition to make positive changes. It helps us to remain flexible and open-minded so we can take advantage of exciting new opportunities. This harmonious influence makes change flow more smoothly with less upset and chaos.

We may feel a twitch or feeling of anticipation that something is about to happen. Chance encounters are possible, and some may be attracted to unusual types of people or those from different ethnic or cultural backgrounds. This is also a good time to break bad habits and to leave boring, unhealthy & toxic relationships.

The aspects throw up some contradictions but overall, it balances out. The Virgo Full Moon has a calmness around her, the possibility of decisions and change are big on the agenda too.

We should allow a calmness to wash over us during the Full Moon. Sit under her glow on the Earth,  draw her down to our being, feeling grounded yet connected directly to La Lunar… And tap in & listen to our higher selves and come from our heart space… that way we can choose a peaceful path on our journey’s.

Love and Blessings ♥♥♥

Leo Full Moon ♥

Friday the 29th of January, we have a Full Moon falling in the Fire sign of Leo who sits opposite the Sun in Aquarius. Our first Full Moon for the year offers us a clear understanding that we are standing at a gateway between the ‘old way’ and the ‘new way’ in our personal lives (as well as in the collective), and we should be feeling more enthusiastic than ever to accept the invitation to jump full force into a new more heart centred journey, as Leo rules the Heart.

We are also approaching the end of the current zodiac cycle, which will conclude just before the March Equinox and things may feel like they are reaching a climax point. The Leo Full Moon may very well trigger this climax point.

A lot of stuff may brew up for us during this Full Moon & not all of it will be pretty…Ugh ?

This is one of those Full Moons that feels like a mixed bag of tricks and perhaps a little chaotic. We may feel knocked off guard or perhaps confused or uncertain about something we were once sure of.

Information may come to the surface that challenges us, or we may notice the unraveling of hidden emotions and feelings that were once neatly tucked away.

While the alignments around this Full Moon are chaotic, they also offer us protection, especially if we look further out and to the big picture.

A Leo Full Moon is the sign that rules the heart and certain ‘matters of the heart’ including romance, risk, speculation, games, recreation, and creativity. These are the happy things that we choose to connect with because they bring us joy and pleasure and are ways of expressing and engaging ‘our hearts true desires’.

Leo is also associated with childhood since this is a period in life when we feel less constricted and self-conscious about letting these parts of ourselves shine. However, unfortunately, in our modern culture it is during childhood that these very parts of ourselves frequently get diminished, squashed, or warped.

If we feel held back, we tend towards rebellion and extremism, as exemplified by Leo’s opposite sign of Aquarius. Leo and Aquarius are both fixed signs, so once they ‘take a stand’ on something it can be hard to sway them. There may be confusion, frustration, and stubbornness around this Leo Full Moon, especially if the creative is stifled.

This Full Moon asks us …where is your Leo heart, full of its own sense of adventure, wonder, creativity and to find its expression in this life?

The Inner Child is very active during a Leo Full Moon, we should all let them out to play!

Although there is some chaotic energy around the Full Moon, we do have a very positive alignment of Jupiter and the Sun occurring.

Jupiter aligning with the Sun is considered fortunate energy, and a fantastic time for signing new deals, launching an event or business, or connecting with and experiencing synchronicities.

It is a day that brings abundance and an expansion of our talents and gifts.

Although under the influence of some chaotic Full Moon energies, it may be a little harder to connect with this abundant energy, but it does not mean it’s not there.

If we keep our minds open, we may just be able to find the little jewels that the Universe has to offer us.

This Jupiter Sun alignment also holds the Jupiter motto… “go big or go home”. The planet of luck and expansion is sending this signal quite clearly during the Leo Full Moon.

This is the time to get truly real and honest with ourselves about how we have been holding ourselves back, holding our hearts back, so that Jupiter can take the sledge-hammer and break these fixed patterns once and for all. Now let’s be real, experiencing a sledge-hammer is not always fun.

But the story of most of 2020 was Jupiter and Pluto teamed up with Saturn to take a sledge-hammer to our outdated institutions and patriarchal norms. So at least now we can accept a parting gift from Jupiter and Pluto during this Leo Full Moon of a reset of our outdated personal emotional patterns.

Pay attention to the signs of the Universe and nature on this day, staying open to their messages and keep our sights set on the bigger picture. Know that if things are confusing, they won’t be that way forever.

Clarity will soon arise, and in time, we may even be able to look back on these events as necessary for the next steps on our journey.

Leo is also about leadership and finding our confidence. Let’s all tap into that. Yes, there can be obstacles in our path, but the courage and determination that Leo energy brings reminds us that we always have the power to make the best of whatever situation we find ourselves in.

Whenever we have strong energy, like we do with this Full Moon, it is easy to fall victim to our fears and to old, familiar habits, even if we know they are not the best for us.

It takes courage to rise from our fears and to remove ourselves from our comfort zones. It takes an inner strength to face adversity and to look at the bigger picture.

These are definitely no easy tasks, but under the bright Leo Full Moon, we will be guided as long as we take the courage to make that first step.

Sometimes taking that first step is the hardest part, but also the most important & rewarding.

Leo is heart-centered energy, so let us all use this time to open our hearts to the Universe and to our unseen journeys coming up.

We need to remember to open our hearts to ourselves, to others and remember just how brave and bold we are. We got this!!

Cancer Full Moon ♥

There is this sense of heightened emotions bubbling under this final Full Moon of the year.

It seems that whatever emotional weight we have carried may feel extra heavy, and in this heaviness, it may crash to the shore like a wave, drowning us in its weight.

Even though this sounds a bit intense, it is actually more cleansing and freeing.

There is this sense that whatever we have been carrying on our backs, whatever weight of the world we have felt on our shoulders, is now being washed away.

The Cancer Full Moon is shining a big bright light onto those who have been wearing a mask and pretending to be people that they are not.

This may be government officials, partners in relationships, friends or those we work with. Deception is revealed and we see the truth once and for all. This is a good time to take off the rose-colored glasses and see things in the light of truth.

The Cancer Full Moon reminds us that there is great potential as we move forward into the new year, and there is no need to take these unhealthy connections with us into 2021.

Cancer is ruled by the Moon, so the Moon shines in its element on this night, big and full for all of us to see. As the Moon returns to its favorite spot in our sky, it is able to express its powers to the fullest.

The Moon represents our emotions, but also what makes us feel safe and secure. It represents our ability to nurture ourselves and to take care of our emotional needs.

So much of our safety and security has been up for evaluation this year. It reminds us that we always have the power to create safety, comfort, love, and strength within ourselves.

The Cancer Full Moon ushers us to look and step within. This is a time to nurture ourselves and to the depths of our very souls.

This is a time to listen to the needs of our bodies, hearts, and our souls. There has been much attention, and even fear, placed on the state of our health this year, so we should all take a moment to honor, nourish, and look after our own well-being.

Flipping back to the start of the year, on January 10, 2020, we also had a Cancer Full Moon, however, this Full Moon was a Lunar Eclipse and its energy was much stronger.

It is interesting that we opened the year with a Cancer Full Moon, and we are now closing the year with a Cancer Full Moon. The difference between then and now however, is that things have softened, the energies are not as strong, there is this gentleness and a time of rest.

Chiron, the wounded healer, is also very active under this Full Moon. It supports this idea of allowing the murky water to settle, rather than trying to interfere or fix things.

Under this final Full Moon of 2020, Chiron works with the energies to remind us that we don’t need to prove ourselves to anyone.

We don’t need to hold the weight of the world on our shoulders. We don’t need to try… we can just be

Where are we over-extending or overreaching in our lives Where are we burning the candle too fast or strong? Where are we all trying too hard?

These areas of our lives can indicate our insecurities. Where we care too much can indicate something deeper that may be worthwhile exploring under the illuminating light of the Moon.

The Cancer Full Moon is also in a harmonious aspect to Uranus, indicating that we may receive some rewards or conclusion for our efforts. Perhaps these come by way of a tangible gift, but perhaps they also come in an intangible way too.

Perhaps our true gift is realising how much we have achieved, how much we have grown, and how much love we have poured into the world.

We very often measure our productivity based on the concrete things we have achieved, but why not measure it on how much we have loved, shown gratitude, and practiced kindness.

The Cancer Full Moon will light the path for the new year. It calls for us to let go of all that is weighing us down and all that feels heavy.

It asks for us to let go of anything we no longer wish to bring with us into this new chapter we are about to begin. It calls for us to let it go, not through struggle or effort but through allowing ourselves to just be.

Let’s all allow the energy of the Cancer Full Moon to soothe us and free us. Allow the energies of the Moon to guide us to our inner home, to our hearts where all is safe, and all is well.

Love and Blessings as we close the year of 2020

December 2020 ♥

As we Zoom towards the close of 2020, this month is full of magical energy, some we are already familiar with and others that are new, shiny and revolutionary.

2020 has been of great awakening, and epic change. All through the year, we have seen so many historically defining alignments taking place and December is no exception.

Throughout this month we have a Solar Eclipse, the Solstice, a special Full Moon, and the fated alignment of Jupiter and Saturn, which is known as the Great Conjunction.

The Great Conjunction is going to steal the show this month due to its rare and potent energy.

While the Great Conjunction happens every 20 years or so, for the last 200 years, it has predominantly taken place in earth signs. But this year, the Great Conjunction unfolds in the air sign of Aquarius.

As Jupiter and Saturn align in Aquarius for the first time in centuries, kickstarting a new 200 year cycle, it is also believed to usher in the Age of Aquarius and bring many activations, which will help our planet ascend into higher frequencies.

There is no doubt that December is a big, bold, and busy month. But it’s important to keep in mind that this is just the beginning.

While there are so many activations and energy unfolding for us this month, it is likely that we won’t fully understand them until we are deeper down the rabbit hole.

Some of the big events for December 2020…

On December 7th we experience a Moon Wobble

When the Moon is in a square alignment (90 degrees) to the Lunar Nodes we have what’s known as a Moon Wobble. The Moon Wobble typically takes place during an Eclipse Gateway, which is the time between two Eclipses. This can bring heightened energy that makes us feel caught off-balance or a little “wobbly.” Moon Wobbles do bring uncertainty, but it is through trekking through the unknown that we are able to grow.

December 12th…  The 12/12 Gateway

1212 is a powerful angel number that indicates wholeness and completion. It is also a number code to help activate our light body. When our light body is activated, we can gain a new understanding of the dimension of time, and traveling to higher realms, whether astrally or in dreams is much easier.

December 14th… A Total New Moon Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius

This Total Solar Eclipse brings a burst of fresh energy, indicating new beginnings but also great change. The full extent of these new beginnings or changes may not be realised straight away. There is a certain element of things being hidden or not fully exposed, but whatever seeds are planted on this day will eventually rise, strong and tall.

December 15th… Chiron Moves Direct

Chiron, the asteroid associated with healing turns direct after being retrograde since July. As Chiron was traveling retrograde, wounds from our past may have resurfaced to be revisited once again. Now with Chiron traveling direct, we can take away new wisdom and strength from all we have been through.

December 17th… Saturn enters Aquarius

Saturn shifts into Aquarius, where it will remain for the next 2.5 years. On a personal level, this signifies the end of a karmic cycle and the starting of a new one. Saturn is the Lord of Karma, and as it shifts from sign to sign, it brings a new set of lessons, challenges, and growth.

Saturn also rewards us for wherever we have shown up and done the work. He’s not all discipline without gifts of good work done!

December 18th… Sun on Galactic Center

The center of our galaxy is believed to sit at about 27 degrees of Sagittarius. As the Sun aligns on this position of the zodiac, we experience galactic, high-frequency energy beaming down to Earth. This high vibrational energy can be used for manifestation work, alchemy, ritual work, and more!

December 19th… Black Moon Lilith Conjunct Uranus

As Uranus aligns with Black Moon Lilith, it brings revolutionary energy. Whatever has been suppressed has the power to rise to the surface for release. This is liberating energy that can help us to push forward if we have been holding ourselves back.

December 20th… Jupiter enters Aquarius

Jupiter spends 12 months in each sign of the zodiac, so its placement indicates the themes for the coming 12 months. Jupiter moving into the sign of Aquarius indicates a focus on humanitarian efforts, community building, healing, and focusing on our collective consciousness. Jupiter is the bringer of expansion and abundance, and will shine a spotlight on a particular area of our life, helping us to harvest the rewards and gifts. Jupiter was last in Aquarius in 2009, so this may provide clues as to where those spotlights may be shining.

December 21/22th… The Great Conjunction/ Solstice/ Capricorn Season

This is the showstopper of December and brings not only the Solstice and the start of Capricorn Season, but also the alignment of Jupiter and Saturn at 0 degrees of Aquarius.

This alignment of Jupiter and Saturn, known as the Great Conjunction, is ushering us into a new era. There is so much to talk about this magical date and why it is extra significant this year. More later….

December 23rd… Mars Squares Pluto

This is the final Mars Square Pluto alignment in a series of three. Mars Square Pluto is typically a volatile energy that indicates increased agitation, frustration, and even anger. Throughout the year, these alignments coincided with protests that were seen all around the world for various reasons. As this is the final of these alignments, hopefully we will receive a sense of deeper understanding that then allows us to move forward feeling heard and seen.

December 30th… The Full Moon in Cancer

This Full Moon is a little special as is also the second Cancer Full Moon we have experienced this year. The first Cancer Full Moon was an Eclipse, which occurred back at the start of January. The energy of this Full Moon is not as strong as the Eclipse, but it indicates the turning of a new page. There is a strong energy of healing around this Full Moon due to the asteroid, Chiron being very active. As this is a Cancer Full Moon, we may also feel extra sensitive at this time.

2020 has been a very challenging year and as we reach its end, it’s important to think about all we have to be grateful for, all the strength we have accumulated, and all the growing we have done.

It is easy to look back on this year and see it as a write off or as a year we want to forget, but if we look at it through the eyes of softening & gratitude…. we may just find some bright jewels of wisdom that are important for us to take forward on our journey into 2021.

Love and Blessings ♥♥♥

Taurian Blue Full Moon ♥

Saturday October 31st, we have a Full Moon falling in the Earth sign of Taurus. Being the second Full Moon of the month, it will be considered a Blue Moon.

Having two Full Moons within the same calendar month indicates an overall theme of release, and it seems there is a lot unraveling under the power of this Taurian Blue Moon.

The Taurus Blue Moon also happens to be a Micromoon, which means it is further away from Earth than usual. The Moon may appear less bright and look smaller in the night sky.

Micromoons are steeped in superstition and are believed to bring bad weather and natural disasters. Even though the Moon is further away from Earth, Micromoons are believed to have a greater influence on our moods.

Adding to the multifaceted Blue Moon influences it also falls on the potent and magical day observed in the Northern Hemisphere as the celebration of Samhain, which is where Halloween gets its roots. Across many cultures, this time of year is also believed to be when the veil between dimensions is at its thinnest.

October 31st is also linked to the Day of the Dead or Día de los Muertos, which is commonly celebrated in Mexico and Central America, and originated from the time of the Aztecs.

Similarly, to the pagan traditions of Samhain, it is believed that on this night, the veil between the living and the dead is thinnest. With the veil between dimensions thin, it is easier for our loved ones to return to Earth and for us to make contact with them.

For us in the Southern Hemisphere, traditionally October 31st begins the Celtic Festival of Beltane. Many celebrate Samhain regardless & there are similarities in both of the pagan celebrations. For the Blue Full Moon both of the festivals energies will be at play.

The Taurian Blue Moons astrology is quite rare for many reasons but the almost exactly conjunction to Uranus also in Taurus brings some funky extra energy into the mix. With the Blue Moon extremely close to Uranus, the planet of change and revolution, we can see unexpected change and uncertainty that may cause anxiety, impatience, and an inability to relax.

This is an extremely powerful and very disruptive influence which we will ride for the next two weeks. Whenever the Moon and Uranus come together, there is always the chance that some shocking information could come to the surface. We may also experience heightened emotions, making it easier to fall victim to our triggers.

While we may feel pulled in many directions under this energy, we can also connect to the earthy, grounded stability that Taurus can offer to us. Grounding ourselves in nature is always a good thing but during this amped up Taurian Blue Moon… it is almost vital.

We really will need to get out in nature, dig our feet into the Earth/Sand, have a swim and walk through the lush wonder of the forests, ocean, creeks and connect with the land.

Some Astrologers are linking the impulsive and unpredictable nature of the Blue Moon with the US presidential election falling a few days after on November 3rd, predicting there will be consequences of this erratic energy that Uranus is bringing through.

Added to that, Mercury stationary direct and square Saturn on that same day is increasing the risk of delays, frustration, and disagreement. Civil unrest, violence, and rebellion are possible.

Full Moons are always powerful points of completion and letting go, but we may find that this Full Blue Moon doesn’t bring the release we are looking for.

While it may stir things and alert us of what needs to be released in our lives, it may lack the strength to help us go the distance.

Even though we may want to be done with something, it looks like we may find ourselves hanging on a little longer than we would have liked.

It may take until the next Full Moon in November, which just so happens to be an Eclipse, for us to take the plunge and finally say goodbye to whatever it is that we wish to release.

As mentioned, this Blue Moon falls on a very auspicious night, where the veil between dimensions is considered to be at its thinnest.

On a positive level, even the planetary influence of Uranus can help us to access these higher dimensions, as Uranus also rules over the awakening of our life force or kundalini energy.

If you wish you can connect to the awakening by visualizing your chakras awakening one by one. See them shining like bright balls of rainbow light. See them opening and connecting you to your higher self and to the realms above.

If you have a loved one that has crossed over, on this night say a special prayer, or do something to remind you of them. Eat their favorite food or light a candle in their name.

And beyond reaching out to passed loved ones, make time to acknowledge the “deaths” both great and small in your life.

There are so many things that have “died” this year, so honor the ones that matter most to you, even if they are a little painful.

Look to nature for guidance, as it is always showing us how it dies and rebirths itself again and again.

So, while this Blue Moon carries some volatility, it also reminds us to get grounded in our being, so we can reach into the realms unknown.

We should honor the deaths we have faced and know that all things lost eventually come around again. It is the law of the Universe that nothing is ever destroyed, only reborn.

Love and Blessings for the Taurian Blue Full Moon ♥♥♥
