Taurus New Moon Eclipse ♥

On Sunday the 1st of May we have a New Moon rising in the sign of Taurus for us here in Australia. This New Moon also heralds our first Eclipse for 2022. It is a partial Eclipse and will be visible across parts of South/West South America, Pacific, Atlantic and Antarctica. Not visible in Australia

Solar Eclipses always fall on a New Moon, and while this is only a Partial Solar Eclipse, it is still ultra-potent and carries the weight of a hundred New Moons!

New Moons always represent new beginnings, so this Eclipse is likely to open doors, open windows, and draw entirely new paths for us in the cosmic skies.

This lunation opens the Eclipse portal and begins a cycle that will keep unfolding for six months. The New Moon Solar Eclipse takes place on the Lunar North Node, the point in space indicating our evolutionary direction. The Sun and the Moon will be conjunct Uranus, the Great Awakener.

The activation of Uranus exponentially increases the unpredictability and the possibilities of sudden, unexpected changes that are already high during Eclipse season. Shifts in the global economy and financial markets, and disruption to food production and distribution are possible. This Eclipse will accelerate our movement towards the future inviting us to accept change and adapt to it, even if it doesn’t conform to our expectations.

The keyword for the Taurus New Moon Eclipse is opportunity, so if there is something we want, this is our cosmic invitation to connect with our heart’s desire and see what comes in.

While New Moons are typically powerful moments in the month for manifestation work, under a Solar Eclipse it is actually better to go with the flow and trust what the Universe brings our way.

Eclipses can always take us by surprise, but it is worthwhile remembering that they always put us where we need to be, even if it doesn’t feel like it at first! In fact, Eclipses can accelerate our timeline, bringing forward things that were ultimately inevitable. Things can happen quickly under an Eclipse!

This is extra true for the Taurus New Moon Solar Eclipse as the planet Uranus is very active. Uranus is known for bringing surprises and events that seem to appear out of the blue. Its energy promises some sort of radical shift from one state to the next.

Uranus can sometimes be a bit shocking in the way that it works, but ultimately its goal is to bring more freedom into our lives. It wants to liberate us from all that is holding us back so we can step into a truer and more authentic place.

Uranus is also the planet of awakening, so if any surprises do show up under this Eclipse, treat it as a sort of wake-up call to reassess our path and our actions.

Awakening moments can be painful, but if we allow ourselves to blossom rather than retreat back, it can lead to wonderful places!

Jupiter and Venus will also be in perfect alignment under this April Eclipse, offering sweet, nurturing, and abundant vibrations. Venus is the natural ruler of Taurus, so its energy is extra strong at this time too and will give this Eclipse a much softer expression.

With Jupiter and Venus in harmony at this time, it seems that no matter what the Eclipse brings, there will likely be a silver lining, or we may just find it easier to join the flow and create ease amongst any changes.

As this Eclipse is about opportunity, this planetary combination can also bring long-held wishes into our reality. If there is something we have been working towards for a long time, this Eclipse may just bring the rewards of our hard work!

Venus and Jupiter are one of the sweetest combinations of cosmic energy out there, and to feel it, all we have to do is breathe it in and know we are worthy to receive it.

Venus and Jupiter are also the signature for abundance, so keeping our minds focused on abundant thinking and aligned with thoughts of gratitude will be extra beneficial and will allow us to align with the flow of abundant energies this cosmic energy brings.

While Solar Eclipses don’t really require us to set goals or request anything of the Universe, they are a good time to bring our awareness to our hearts and ensure they are open to receiving.

Taurus is the sign associated with self-worth, so bring attention to where you are holding your worth and to any known or hidden feelings of unworthiness. More self-love is often the antidote whenever feelings of not being good enough show up.

We are navigating a time of profound personal and collective transformation, full of upheavals, challenges, and trials. The structures, the lifestyles, the coping mechanisms, and the patterns that have been working for us so far aren’t working any longer. Even if we don’t feel ready to let go of the known, we are being encouraged to explore new ways of being and learn what works as we go.

Taurus Full Moon ~ Lunar Eclipse ♥

Friday the 19th of November, we have a Taurus Full Moon & partial Lunar Eclipse. This Eclipse will be visible to most places in Australia and for us in the Northern Rivers NSW the Eclipse will begin just after 7pm, Max at 8pm and finish at 11pm. Fingers crossed for clear skies. A total Lunar Eclipse tends to turn the Moon Red, with a partial we get a tinge and a very bright illumination.

Eclipses represent portals of transformation and awakening. They tend to bring fated events into our lives that help to elevate the evolution and growth of our soul.

These transformations and awakenings may be quick and sudden, or they may be slow and linger for the weeks and months to come.

Eclipses are powerful and can set things into motion for us. They tend to help us cut the cord, take a leap of faith, and awaken us to new insights.

The Taurus Partial Lunar Eclipse is the first Taurus Eclipse we have experienced since 2014. It represents the starting point of a new Eclipse cycle which we will see unfold over the months to come.

Eclipses tend to come in pairs, falling in the two opposite signs of the zodiac. This Taurus Eclipse will be partnered with the Scorpio Eclipses, which we will experience through 2022.

There are some positive influences with planetary aspects to the Lunar Eclipse, but we also have some not so positive influences in the mix.

The Taurus Lunar Eclipse also aligns with Algol, renowned to be the most destructive star in heaven. Its energetic vibe is that of misfortune, violence, and sickness. So, looking into the spiritual meaning of the Taurian Full Moon… to master the big lesson we should gravitate towards using honesty, faith, a strong sense of purpose to evolve your soul to a higher level.

Relationships, evolving, and change seem to be the theme surrounding this Full Moon. Relationships in our lives are at the forefront and this includes our relationship with others, but also our relationship with ourselves and with money.

Venus is very active at the time of this Eclipse as it is the natural ruler of Taurus. Venus rules over all matters of the heart, love, and our finances. Venus also rules over what we value and what we find worthy, so all of these themes have the potential to rise to the surface at this time.

If we have been treading on rocky ground with a certain relationship in our lives, we may find that this Eclipse brings things to a head. As this is a Lunar Eclipse, it is very possible that whatever has been on shaky ground may fall away.

We may also find that attitudes and beliefs that are blocking us from forming deeper and more intimate relationships with others and with ourselves fall away under the energy of this Eclipse.

In fact, this Eclipse is perfect for self-love work and for boosting our feelings of self-worth.

We need to be reminded that we can be too hard on ourselves, and we actually are doing much better than we give ourselves credit for. The past 2 years have been a rocky ride and we need to be reminded to kind to ourselves. Remember to look at our achievements and successes.

It’s also worth keeping in mind that Eclipses tend to put us where we need to be, so let’s trust in the flow and keep our hearts open to allowing whatever needs to come and whatever needs to go.

There is some funky energy around the Taurian Full Moon Eclipse that has the possibility to shake things up quite a bit but we if we can embrace any changes that come about and use them as an opportunity to awaken our hearts to a deeper and richer love. We can then connect to the new energy and allow it to show us the way to the next chapter of our journey’s…

Eclipse Aspects…

Moon square Jupiter can make us feel hopeful and enthusiastic. But exaggerated emotional reactions and impulses can also bring carelessness, irresponsibility, and excessiveness. Loss and disappointment may result from blind faith, overconfidence, greed, and immorality.

Possible changeable moods, and changing tastes can cause relationship difficulties.

Moon trine Pluto brings emotional sensitivity and psychic perception. We may feel things more powerfully and are likely to be transformed by intense emotional reactions.

A subconscious urge to evolve at the emotional level assists with the Jupiter urge to expand our horizons. It helps us to focus our energy and grow in the direction that best aligns with our karmic destiny.

Psychological self-analysis can help us to access the deep, dark areas of our subconscious.

All in all… work with what we can

Taurian Blue Full Moon ♥

Saturday October 31st, we have a Full Moon falling in the Earth sign of Taurus. Being the second Full Moon of the month, it will be considered a Blue Moon.

Having two Full Moons within the same calendar month indicates an overall theme of release, and it seems there is a lot unraveling under the power of this Taurian Blue Moon.

The Taurus Blue Moon also happens to be a Micromoon, which means it is further away from Earth than usual. The Moon may appear less bright and look smaller in the night sky.

Micromoons are steeped in superstition and are believed to bring bad weather and natural disasters. Even though the Moon is further away from Earth, Micromoons are believed to have a greater influence on our moods.

Adding to the multifaceted Blue Moon influences it also falls on the potent and magical day observed in the Northern Hemisphere as the celebration of Samhain, which is where Halloween gets its roots. Across many cultures, this time of year is also believed to be when the veil between dimensions is at its thinnest.

October 31st is also linked to the Day of the Dead or Día de los Muertos, which is commonly celebrated in Mexico and Central America, and originated from the time of the Aztecs.

Similarly, to the pagan traditions of Samhain, it is believed that on this night, the veil between the living and the dead is thinnest. With the veil between dimensions thin, it is easier for our loved ones to return to Earth and for us to make contact with them.

For us in the Southern Hemisphere, traditionally October 31st begins the Celtic Festival of Beltane. Many celebrate Samhain regardless & there are similarities in both of the pagan celebrations. For the Blue Full Moon both of the festivals energies will be at play.

The Taurian Blue Moons astrology is quite rare for many reasons but the almost exactly conjunction to Uranus also in Taurus brings some funky extra energy into the mix. With the Blue Moon extremely close to Uranus, the planet of change and revolution, we can see unexpected change and uncertainty that may cause anxiety, impatience, and an inability to relax.

This is an extremely powerful and very disruptive influence which we will ride for the next two weeks. Whenever the Moon and Uranus come together, there is always the chance that some shocking information could come to the surface. We may also experience heightened emotions, making it easier to fall victim to our triggers.

While we may feel pulled in many directions under this energy, we can also connect to the earthy, grounded stability that Taurus can offer to us. Grounding ourselves in nature is always a good thing but during this amped up Taurian Blue Moon… it is almost vital.

We really will need to get out in nature, dig our feet into the Earth/Sand, have a swim and walk through the lush wonder of the forests, ocean, creeks and connect with the land.

Some Astrologers are linking the impulsive and unpredictable nature of the Blue Moon with the US presidential election falling a few days after on November 3rd, predicting there will be consequences of this erratic energy that Uranus is bringing through.

Added to that, Mercury stationary direct and square Saturn on that same day is increasing the risk of delays, frustration, and disagreement. Civil unrest, violence, and rebellion are possible.

Full Moons are always powerful points of completion and letting go, but we may find that this Full Blue Moon doesn’t bring the release we are looking for.

While it may stir things and alert us of what needs to be released in our lives, it may lack the strength to help us go the distance.

Even though we may want to be done with something, it looks like we may find ourselves hanging on a little longer than we would have liked.

It may take until the next Full Moon in November, which just so happens to be an Eclipse, for us to take the plunge and finally say goodbye to whatever it is that we wish to release.

As mentioned, this Blue Moon falls on a very auspicious night, where the veil between dimensions is considered to be at its thinnest.

On a positive level, even the planetary influence of Uranus can help us to access these higher dimensions, as Uranus also rules over the awakening of our life force or kundalini energy.

If you wish you can connect to the awakening by visualizing your chakras awakening one by one. See them shining like bright balls of rainbow light. See them opening and connecting you to your higher self and to the realms above.

If you have a loved one that has crossed over, on this night say a special prayer, or do something to remind you of them. Eat their favorite food or light a candle in their name.

And beyond reaching out to passed loved ones, make time to acknowledge the “deaths” both great and small in your life.

There are so many things that have “died” this year, so honor the ones that matter most to you, even if they are a little painful.

Look to nature for guidance, as it is always showing us how it dies and rebirths itself again and again.

So, while this Blue Moon carries some volatility, it also reminds us to get grounded in our being, so we can reach into the realms unknown.

We should honor the deaths we have faced and know that all things lost eventually come around again. It is the law of the Universe that nothing is ever destroyed, only reborn.

Love and Blessings for the Taurian Blue Full Moon ♥♥♥
